Grand Blue: How to Get Fruit Fast in Roblox

The beginner quest, hourly world bosses, Celestial Coin bundles, and code redemptions that reliably turn into Fruit Chests.

Cursed Fruits in Grand Blue do not drop directly into your hands. Almost everything funnels through Fruit Chests, and the chest you open decides which fruit you roll, from Common up through Celestial. That means the real goal is not hunting fruits, it is stacking chests as quickly as possible.

Quick answer: Finish the Wizard’s Apprentice quest from Almighty Calvin in Anchor Town for a guaranteed Fruit Chest, join the world boss that spawns every hour on the hour, and bank Celestial Coins until you can buy the 20x Fruit Chest bundle in the shop.

Fruit Chest sources ranked by reliability

Every method below eventually produces the same thing, a Fruit Chest you open from your backpack. What separates them is how often you can repeat them and whether the payout is guaranteed.

Wizard’s Apprentice quest in Anchor Town (free Fruit Chest)

This is the first thing a new character should do. Anchor Town is the starting island, the quest costs nothing but walking time, and the reward chest is guaranteed. It cannot be repeated, so treat it as a one-off head start rather than a farm.

Buy a Shovel from the vendor near the upper part of Anchor Town. Without it you cannot dig anything up, and the quest objectives are all buried.
Climb the stairs into the town area and find the NPC standing on top of a stone structure. He appears as Almighty Calvin, also written as Almighty Kelvin in game, and he is the only quest giver you need here.

Talk to him and accept the “Wizards Apprentice” quest. Four waypoints appear on your screen, each marking a buried object along the town and beach.

Travel to each waypoint and dig with the shovel to collect the shells, coloured red, yellow, white and black. Hostile NPCs patrol parts of the route, so expect to run past a few fights at low level.

The tracker ticks off each shell as you dig it up.
Return to Calvin and hand the objects in. You get XP and stat points, plus Calvin’s Treasure, which sits in your backpack until you open it.

You know it worked when the quest disappears from your tracker and the chest shows up in your inventory. Opening it rolls a fruit immediately, and a tutorial pop-up explains how eating a Cursed Fruit unlocks its skills.

World bosses: the hourly fruit farm

World bosses, also called world events, spawn every hour on the hour at XX:00 global server time. They are the most consistent repeatable fruit source in the game because they pay out twice, once in World Boss Chances and again in Celestial Coins.

Rewards scale with contribution, not with kill credit. Reaching at least 400 contribution guarantees one World Boss Chance even if you finish second or third. Taking the MVP spot doubles that to two chances. Each chance then rolls separately for whether it becomes an actual Fruit Chest, so a single fight is not a guaranteed fruit, but showing up every hour compounds fast.

Note: if a boss ends and you got nothing, the usual cause is falling short of the 400 contribution threshold. Damage dealt is what counts, so allocate stat points before you commit to a fight rather than after.

Celestial Coins and the Fruit Chest bundles

Celestial Coins are the currency the shop uses for Fruit Chests, and they are the only method here that lets you buy chests in bulk without spending Robux. Three income streams matter.

  • Achievements. Milestone rewards are the biggest single payouts, and a single achievement can hand over more than 2,000 coins. Worth clearing even at higher levels.
  • World bosses. Every fight you contribute to adds coins on top of the fruit chances.
  • Purple marker side quests. NPCs with a purple quest icon give short errands paying roughly 25 coins each. Small individually, but they add up while you are already crossing the map.

Once you have a stack, open the Shop menu and look at the Fruit Chest listings. They come as 1x, 3x, 10x and 20x bundles, priced in either Celestial Coins or Robux. The per-chest value improves as the bundle gets bigger, so saving for the 20x is a better use of coins than buying single chests as they become affordable.

Redeem codes for free Fruit Chests

Codes are the fastest zero-effort chests in the game, and several have handed out Fruit Chests alongside Celestial Coins, World Boss Chests, Trait Rerolls and Race Rerolls.

Open the in-game Menu and click the gear icon for Settings. There is also a code box on the character customization screen before you join a server.
Select the “Codes” tab and type a code into the text box exactly as written, including capital letters and punctuation. Codes that have circulated include Release!, TwitterGoalReached, SorryForBreakingGame, 10KCCU, WorldBossBroke, HappySunday and NewYouNewCrew.
Hit Redeem. A working code drops the rewards straight into your account, so open your backpack and check for the chest before moving on. If nothing appears, the code has either expired or already been claimed on that account.

While you are in that menu, the like, favourite and group-join rewards are separate free claims worth grabbing in the same pass.

Tree spawns and the Treasure Hunter outfit

Cursed Fruits also spawn directly on trees and plants around the world on an hourly cycle. There is a catch that makes this unreliable as a plan: these spawns get no map markers, and anyone on the server can pick them up. You are searching manually and competing with everyone else online, so treat a tree fruit as a bonus you stumble into while doing something else.

Exploring off the quest path is the only way to spot tree spawns, since they carry no markers.

The Treasure Hunter Outfit is the better passive option. Equipping it unlocks Treasure Sense, which gives every shovel dig a chance to turn up a buried fruit chest instead of the usual dig loot. You get the outfit by defeating Treasure Hunter NPCs south of Anchor Town. If you already dig for treasure maps or life skill materials, this converts that routine into an extra fruit source at no additional time cost.

The practical routine looks like this: clear Calvin’s quest and every available code on day one, set a reminder for the top of the hour so you never miss a world boss, and let achievements and purple-marker quests build your coin balance in between. None of it requires Robux, and the rolls stop feeling like pure luck once you are opening chests in batches instead of one at a time.
