How to unlock Osric the Uninvited
If the items are missing after the rotation date, the usual cause is a lapsed or failed payment, or being signed into a different Epic account than the one carrying the subscription. Crew items are tied to the account that pays, not the platform you play on.
Osric the Uninvited edit styles and hat toggle
Open Edit Style on the outfit and you get six looks in total. The default is listed simply as Osric the Uninvited, and the five recolors are labelled Dusk’s Legacy, Auric Legacy, Phase Legacy, Rimebound Legacy, and Cosmic Legacy. Auric leans gold, Rimebound goes cold and icy, and Cosmic is the loudest of the set.
The second slot in the same menu is a hat switch with two settings, Hat (On) and Hat (Off). Turning it off uncovers his face and hair, and it works independently of the color you pick, so any of the six styles can be worn with or without the hat.
Soulspark Lantern pickaxe and Revenant’s Coffin back bling
The Soulspark Lantern is a lantern on a chain rather than a rigid axe, so the swing animation whips it around instead of chopping. Each legacy style gives the swing its own trail color, which is the easiest way to tell the variants apart while you’re playing.
The Revenant’s Coffin sits on Osric’s back and is the more detailed of the two. Look closely and you can see souls moving and screaming inside it, and that interior changes tone along with whichever style you’ve equipped.
Note: the three pieces are separate locker items, so you can mix them with anything else you own. The style menus are per item, which means a mismatched combination is possible if you only switch the outfit.
Where the pack appears in the shop
Crew content is surfaced through the Shop tab rather than bought item by item. Open the shop and the Crew offer sits alongside Spotlight Drops and the rest of the featured rows, showing what the current month includes before you subscribe.
If you plan to support a creator on a purchase, set the code first. The Support a Creator panel in the shop has a single field where you type a creator name or code, and it stays applied until you change it.
How Osric lines up with Fortnitemares 2026
Osric lands at the start of the month, ahead of the Halloween event rather than as part of it. Epic has not announced a start date for Fortnitemares 2026, so treat any specific day floating around as unconfirmed. For reference, the 2025 event opened on October 9 and the 2024 edition began on October 12, which puts the usual window somewhere in the first half of the month.
He is not the only Halloween-themed outfit in the pipeline either. A mummified rabbit outfit called Bunnybone has also turned up in game files, though it looks like a shop release rather than a Crew reward, and no price or date has been given for it.
Comparisons to Kado Thorne, the vampire from Chapter 4 Season 4’s battle pass, are inevitable given the theme. The difference is in the extras: Kado Thorne shipped with a built-in Metamorphosis transformation emote, while Osric’s variety comes from his six styles and the hat toggle instead.
If you are already subscribed, you don’t need to do anything. If you’re not, the deciding factor is timing rather than price, since Crew rewards don’t stay claimable after the month ends and Osric is unlikely to reappear in the item shop later.
