Everything confirmed about the September 24 broadcast, from the gameplay reveal window to the Free Weekend running alongside it.

Ubisoft is putting its next Division 2 expansion on camera today. The Echoes of Central Park Showcase is a dedicated broadcast built around the World Gameplay Reveal for the game’s third DLC, the one that finally takes Agents inside Central Park after years of the series circling it. It runs alongside a Free Weekend, so anyone who hasn’t touched the game can install it and watch at the same time.

Quick answer: The showcase airs September 24 at 9AM PT / 6PM CEST on YouTube and Twitch, leading with the first Echoes of Central Park gameplay. The Free Weekend starts the same day.

Release time: September 24, 2026 at 9:00 AM PT / 6:00 PM CEST (16:00 UTC)

Echoes of Central Park Showcase start time by region

Ubisoft confirmed a single global start time of 9AM PT / 6PM CEST. Here is how that lands elsewhere.

Time zoneStart time (Sept 24)
Pacific (PT)9:00 AM
Eastern (ET)12:00 PM
UTC16:00
Central Europe (CEST)6:00 PM

No runtime has been given. The broadcast is scheduled rather than pre-recorded and released, so the stream page goes live at the start time rather than earlier.

Where to watch the showcase

The showcase is broadcast on two channels at once. Ubisoft’s YouTube channel carries the stream, with live chat disabled on that side, and the official The Division game Twitch channel carries it as well. Watching on Twitch is the relevant option if you want the Twitch Drops that Ubisoft has tied to the broadcast.

Drops only pay out to accounts that are linked before the stream ends, so connect your Ubisoft account to Twitch ahead of the 9AM PT start rather than during the broadcast.

What the showcase covers

Ubisoft has published the segment list rather than a full rundown. Four things are confirmed to be part of the program.

  • The World Gameplay Reveal for Echoes of Central Park, the first gameplay footage from the expansion.
  • Developer interviews with the team behind the DLC.
  • Twitch Drops and special offers tied to the broadcast.
  • Announcements covering what comes next for The Division 2.

A release date for the expansion has not been announced, and none is confirmed going into the show. The Gamescom reveal in August gave the title and the premise only, and the showcase is positioned as the actual content reveal.

What is known about the Echoes of Central Park expansion

No Division game has made Central Park playable, and its continued closure is explained by the setting. Authorities converted the park into a mass grave site during the outbreak. The Division does not know what took place there in the years afterward, and that mystery provides the expansion’s foundation.

The story opens with a distress call from somewhere inside the park, while rumors spread across the Upper West Side about what is behind the gates. Agents investigate those reports, prepare, and eventually go in. Massive Entertainment has described the tone as darker than anything the series has done, with fear treated as an obstacle in its own right rather than just atmosphere.

The Division 2 Free Weekend runs September 24-28

The game is free to play from September 24 through September 28 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Ubisoft Connect. The Free Weekend begins the same day as the showcase, which makes it the practical entry point if the Central Park reveal convinces you to try the game. Downloads for all three platforms are handled from Ubisoft’s Free Weekend page.

Progress made during a Free Weekend period in The Division 2 carries over if you buy the game afterward, so the four days double as a head start rather than a demo you have to repeat.

What else is on The Division 2 roadmap

The “what’s next” portion of the broadcast sits on top of commitments Ubisoft has already made. Crossplay is the largest of them and arrives in November, enabled by default, with every player migrated to the crossplay environment, clans merged across platforms, clan capacity raised from 50 to 100 members, and leaderboards reset. You can switch it off from the character selection screen if you would rather stay on your own platform.

Year 8 Season 3: Red Horizon launched on August 27 and brought the Cleaners to Washington, D.C., the Pressure Gauge modifier system, the Blackout uncapped Dark Zone, and the Toxic PvE Dark Zone as a permanent fixture. Season 4 has been teased with the return of the Black Tusk, a reworked Prototype Gear system that leans less on RNG, and changes giving players more control over Escalation difficulty and rewards.

Everything else about Echoes of Central Park, including how big the playspace is, what enemies live in it, and when it ships, is what the 9AM PT broadcast exists to answer.
