Steal a Chicken looks like a simple egg tycoon for about five minutes. Then you walk toward the second zone, hit an invisible wall of a speed requirement, and realize the whole game is built around one number. Everything else — bigger pens, heavier eggs, fatter payouts — hangs off how fast your character moves.
Quick answer: Speed unlocks zones, and you raise it by walking the treadmill at your base. Grab the free +10,000 speed for liking the game and joining the group, redeem the active codes for cash, then spend that cash on trail multipliers and treadmill levels before you try to steal anything bigger than a Black Chicken.
Claim the free +10,000 speed first
There is a sign in the map advertising +10K Speed for liking the experience and joining the developer’s Roblox group. It is the single largest speed swing available to a new account, and it costs nothing. Hit the like button on the experience page, then join the Kibrix Runner group and rejoin the server so the bonus applies.
That bonus alone puts you within striking distance of the Lake’s 5,000 speed recommendation, which would otherwise take a long stretch of treadmill time to reach.
Steal a Chicken codes for cash and boosts
Codes hand you starting capital so you can buy a trail before you have sold a single heavy egg. The redemption box is case-sensitive, so type the codes exactly as written.

If nothing happens, the cause is almost always a typo or wrong capitalization. Failing that, the code has expired, or the server you are on is running an older version — leave and rejoin to land on a fresher one.
Zone speed requirements and what lives there
Each area posts a recommended speed at its entrance. Go in under it and you will not outrun the Guard chasing you, which means you drop what you grabbed. The jump between the first two zones is enormous, and it is the moment most players stall out.

Heavier chickens lay heavier eggs, and weight is what the Merchant pays for. A Cheese Egg weighs 2.8kg. A Zombie Egg weighs 22kg. That is why a full pen of starter birds sells for a few hundred while a mixed batch after the Lake sells for tens of thousands.
Treadmill levels and speed per step
The treadmill at your base is the only repeatable source of speed. Every step you take on it adds points, and upgrading the machine raises how much each step is worth. The first upgrade is cheap enough to buy on your second or third sell trip.

At Level 3 the treadmill pays out +25 speed per step. Stack a x2 trail on top of that and each step is worth +50 instead. Further levels continue past that point, so the upgrade sign will keep offering you the next tier as your bankroll grows.
Tip: buy the trail before you commit to a long treadmill session. The multiplier applies to the steps you take while it is active, so running first and buying later wastes the gains.
Trail Shop multipliers and prices
Trails are the multiplier layer. They do not give you a flat number, they scale what the treadmill hands you, which makes them the highest-value purchase at every stage of the game.

A reasonable order is Grey at $25K, then the Level 2 treadmill, then Blue at $100K alongside Level 3. Skipping Grey to save for Blue usually costs you more time than it saves.
Running the egg loop and upgrading your pen
Your chickens lay eggs on their own while you are away. Collect them from the pen, carry the batch to the Merchant, and hit Sell. Early on that is a few hundred dollars per trip. Once heavier birds are in the pen the same trip can clear $40,000 to $69,000.
The pen upgrade from Level 1 to Level 2 costs $10K and raises how many chickens you can keep. More slots means more eggs accumulating during every treadmill session, so it pays for itself quickly.
Note: other players can bat you and make you drop your haul. Sell in batches rather than hoarding a full inventory across the map, especially on a busy server.
Stealing higher-tier chickens
Stealing works the same way in every zone. Grab a chicken off its nest, sprint back before the Guard reaches you, and drop it into your pen. The confirmation is a banner naming the bird and its weight, such as “Black Chicken (8.8kg) stolen!” — if you see that, it is yours and it will start laying.
The weight is the whole point. A Black Chicken at 8.8kg is a Forest-tier upgrade, a Zombie Chicken at 20kg roughly doubles that, and a Pig Chicken at 38kg is another large step up. Replace your lightest birds as you go so every pen slot is earning.
Fusion Machine and the Mega Egg
The Fusion Machine is a late-game sink rather than an early tool. Its prompt is direct — bring three Insane chickens to fuse — and the payoff is a MEGA EGG. Do not bother detouring toward it until you are consistently pulling Insane-tier birds out of the higher zones.
Mini-games to play while training
Treadmill sessions are long. The game builds in three distractions you can play without stepping off — Flappy Chicken, Perfect Hit, and Egg Rush. They keep the session tolerable while your speed counter climbs toward the next zone threshold.
New chickens rotate in every night, so the pen you built today is not the pen you will want a week from now.
