Blox Fruits Update 30: How to Get the Arcsteel Magnet Chromatic Skin

The rare Magnet skin drops from the Chromatic Box, and Magnet Tokens are the only currency that gets you rolls.

Update 30 added the Magnet fruit to Blox Fruits, and with it a limited Magnet Event that hands out its own currency. The rarest thing in that event is Arcsteel Magnet, a chromatic skin that repaints every Magnet ability and swaps the fruit’s mech transformation for a red-and-gold suit. It is cosmetic only, and it is the hardest pull in the pool.

Quick answer: Farm Magnet Tokens from Magnetized enemies during the hourly event, spend them on Chromatic Box rolls in the Magnet Gacha, and keep rolling — Arcsteel Magnet sits at a 1% chance. Trading with another player is the only alternative.

The Chromatic Box is the only container that can produce Arcsteel Magnet. Its odds are flat, so there is no pity counter and no way to improve the roll. Two skins share the bottom slot at 1% each, which means most of your tokens will turn into the common cosmetics near the top of the table.

Runic Fiend is worth noting because it is a mutation skin rather than a standard one, in the same family as Galaxy Empyrean. Outside the Chromatic Box, the Magnet Gacha also gives out a Beach Banner and a Vibes Frame Break.

How to farm Magnet Tokens from Magnetized enemies

Magnet Tokens work the same way Summer Tokens did in Update 27. They come from a timed event that runs every hour, and the only way to earn them in bulk is to clear the special enemies it spawns.

Wait for the Magnet Event to start, then look for Magnetized enemies. They spawn across every island in whichever sea you are currently in, so you are never locked out by your progression.
Identify them by sight. Magnetized enemies use the Magnet fruit themselves and are ringed by floating scrap parts, the same visual language the Tormented bosses used during the Pain Event.
Kill them for roughly 25 tokens each. Their stats scale to your damage, so a maxed account does not delete them instantly and a lower-level player is not shut out.
Bank the tokens and spend them on Chromatic Box rolls in the Magnet Gacha. Because the box is a flat 1% for Arcsteel Magnet, volume is the only lever you control.

Get Magnet and unlock its moves before equipping the skin

A chromatic skin only shows up on abilities you can actually cast, so an unmastered Magnet will hide most of what you paid for. Magnet is stocked in the Permanent Fruit Shop for 2,800 Robux, and equipping it starts you at Mastery 1 with a single usable skill.

Buy Magnet from the Permanent Fruit Shop and equip it from your hotbar. At this point only the basic attack and the first skill respond.
Grind mastery on regular enemies if you want it free. The second and third skills open up quickly once you start landing hits with the fruit rather than a sword.

Skip the grind by opening the in-game Shop and buying a fruit mastery package for Magnet. The +200 and +300 bundles both push you past the thresholds for the remaining skills in one purchase, with the +300 pack costing 240 Robux.

Note: buy the mastery inside a safe zone. The purchase menu does not pause combat, and Magnetized enemies hit back.

What the Arcsteel Magnet skin changes on each ability

Skins in Blox Fruits alter visuals for abilities and transformations and nothing else. They do not touch attack or defense values, so Arcsteel Magnet is a flex item, not a power spike.

In base form, Magnet’s kit is Scrap Arsenal on Z, Magnetic Overcharge on X, and Polarizing Drop on C, with flight on F. With Arcsteel equipped, the default blue-and-purple magnetism is replaced by an aquamarine palette that carries across the basic attacks, all three skills, and the flight trail.

The bigger change is the transformation. Landing hits fills a Magnetic Power bar to 3/3, and the V key then turns you into a mech. Stock Magnet gives you a purple machine; Arcsteel replaces it with a red-and-gold Hulkbuster-style suit, and reskins the transformed Z, X, C and thruster flight to match.

The mech transformation is where the chromatic skin makes the most visible difference.

Two mechanics are worth knowing before you go showing it off. The transformation drains its charge and self-destructs when the bar empties, and while it is active it soaks a large chunk of incoming damage, in the region of 40 to 50 percent. Rebuilding the bar means dropping out of mech form and fighting normally again.

Trading for Arcsteel Magnet instead of rolling for it

Arcsteel Magnet can change hands between players, which is how most people who did not hit the 1% will end up with it. You can inspect the skin inside the Chromatic Gacha menu first to confirm which cosmetic you are actually being offered before committing to a trade.

Prices for anything tied to a live event tend to be at their worst in the opening days, while token farming is still in full swing and supply is thin. Nothing about the skin expires once it is in your inventory, so there is no mechanical pressure to overpay early.

How to confirm the skin is applied

Equip Magnet and throw out a single basic attack. If the effects come out aquamarine instead of the default colour, Arcsteel is live on the base kit. For the transformation, charge Magnetic Power to 3/3 and press V — a red-and-gold mech confirms it, a purple one means the skin is not equipped.

If the skills do nothing at all, the problem is mastery rather than the skin. Z, X and C stay locked until Magnet’s mastery clears their thresholds, and an unequipped skin will never show on abilities you cannot cast.

Magnet in PvP after the Update 30 defense changes

Update 30 cut every defense value in the game by 25%, lowered Haki defense by a further 15%, and reduced maximum health by 10%. Fights end faster than they used to, which raises the value of the mech form’s damage reduction and makes the self-destruct on an empty charge bar a real risk in the middle of a duel.

None of that is affected by which skin you have on. Arcsteel Magnet buys you a different colour scheme and a distinct mech, and the rest comes down to how well you manage the charge bar between transformations.
