The Canada bike chase is the set piece where Logan runs down a Trask Security and Reaver convoy on a rain-soaked mountain highway to reach a truckload of captured mutants. It starts as a motorcycle sequence with driving prompts, then hands you back full claw combat on top of moving vehicles.
Quick answer: Ride the convoy down, slash truck tires with the claw attack, survive being run off the road, then fight across the trucks on foot until you breach the transport and beat Skullbuster.
Canada bike chase objective: The One That Got Away
Logan picks up a motorcycle at an industrial dock and takes it onto the highway while Mystique calls in over the radio from the docks. She handles the two injured mutants she finds there; Logan goes after the rest. The tracked objective that appears once you pull alongside the first truck is The One That Got Away.
| Phase | Setting | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Motorcycle pursuit | Wet highway | Weave traffic, slash tires, wreck the APC |
| Forced off-road | Muddy forest track | Dodge trees, jump the cliff onto a truck |
| Convoy fights | Flatbed and scrap truck | Claw combat against Reavers and guards |
| Snowy pass | Log truck | Beat the Reaver Commando, cut the straps |

The bike section swaps the normal combat layout for a short driving scheme, and the game flashes each button on screen the first time it matters.
- R2 — accelerate, used to close the gap on the convoy.
- L2 — brake, prompted when a red car spins out in front of you.
- Square — claw attack, used from the saddle to cut tires and armor.
- Triangle and a second L2 prompt appear later during the on-foot fights.
Highway phase: slashing tires and wrecking the APC

Getting run off the road and the cliff jump
After a jump over a wrecked car puts Logan right behind the transport truck, guards open fire from the rear doors and the driver rams the bike into the guardrail. That crash is scripted. You end up in a muddy forest path below the highway, weaving between trees to get back level with the convoy.

The forest path ends at a cliff edge. Logan launches the bike off it, jumps clear mid-air, cuts down a Reaver and lands on a moving flatbed as the motorcycle explodes behind him. The bike is gone for good from this point on.
Convoy fights: flatbed, scrap truck, and the snowy pass
The flatbed fight is your first proper claw encounter of the sequence, against a dual-blade Reaver plus several Trask Security guards, all while the truck is still moving. Enemies here try to knock you off the deck rather than trade hits.

Clear it, then leap forward to the scrap truck. The loose metal pile is where the sequence opens up cinematic executions on Reavers and guards. Shortly after, the convoy climbs into a snowy mountain region and Logan takes rifle fire in the back, leaving visible bloody wounds on the suit.
Those wounds are not a fail state. The healing factor closes them on its own once the fighting pauses, which the sequence shows twice.
Reaver Commando fight and the log release
Jump to the log-carrying truck and a Reaver Commando with cybernetic arm blades cuts in ahead of the regular enemies. He is the miniboss of the chase, and the fight ends with a stab through the chest on top of the logs.

With him down, cut the yellow straps holding the load. The logs roll off the back and crush the armored vehicles chasing you, and Logan drops onto the snowy road with his injuries already closing.
An armored Trask vehicle immediately charges him. Cling to the front grille, climb underneath it, then hook the winch line to the undercarriage. That rips the axle clean off and swings Logan up onto the main transport truck.
Breaching the transport and beating Skullbuster
From the roof of the transport, Logan drops off the back and smashes through the rear doors into the cargo bay. Inside is the cyborg Skullbuster, who greets him by saying he was hoping for the redhead instead.

The Skullbuster fight is short and confined to the truck interior, ending with a headbutt. Behind him is a cage holding the captured mutant children, including the green-skinned Leech, who asks Logan if he is a superhero. The reply closes the scene: “Nah, kid… I’m Wolverine.”
How to know the Canada bike chase is finished
Confirmation comes in three beats. Logan’s back wounds seal completely, the caged mutants are freed, and control shifts to the final scripted hijack when a pursuing armored vehicle rams the transport. He jumps onto its hood, smashes the windshield, throws the driver out, fights the passenger from the driver’s seat and steers the whole thing off a snowy cliff. Once the vehicle is airborne, the set piece is over.
The sequence is a fair sample of what the game is built around more broadly. Insomniac’s take on Logan leans on the same swappable Techniques, rage-driven combat and heavy cinematic staging across Canada, Tokyo and Madripoor, and it runs exclusively on PS5 with PS5 Pro image-quality support.
