Fahloo is the small, foam-covered Water Aniimo you pull out of Tideblossom Coast, and it has exactly one evolution: Erlath. There is no branching line and no second path, so the whole job comes down to hitting a level and holding one stone.

Quick answer: Raise Fahloo to Aniimo level 49, then spend Wave Stone x1 on the Evolve screen inside Aniimo Management to turn it into Erlath.

Fahloo evolution requirements: level 49 and Wave Stone x1

Fahloo sits at No. 80 in the Aniilog as a Water Aniimo with the Energy role, and it is the only stage-one member of its family. Its single evolution unlocks once the level condition is met and the material is in your bag.

  • Must reach the required Aniimo level
  • Aniimo level 49
  • Wave Stone x1

Nothing else gates the change. There is no quest flag, no time-of-day window and no second item, and once Fahloo becomes Erlath the line ends there.

How to evolve Fahloo in the Aniimo Management menu

Open the main menu with the button shown in the top right corner of the screen. The exact input changes between PC, Xbox and PS5, but the prompt is always displayed there.
Go to Aniimo Management, which sits in the top row between the Inventory page and the mini map icon. This page lists everything in your box as well as your active team.
Select Fahloo, then find the small circular icon near the bottom right of its panel, just left of Level Up. It shows a cat-shaped animal with arrows pointing upward.
Check the requirement list in the upper right of the evolution screen, then press Evolve in the bottom right. The button only becomes usable once the level and the stone are both satisfied.

You know it worked when the entry flips from Fahloo to Erlath in Aniimo Management, the Aniilog registers No. 81, and the skill list gains two entries it did not have before. Height jumps from 0.95m to 1.5m, so the model change is obvious on the field too.

Where to catch Fahloo in Tideblossom Coast

Fahloo appears in Tideblossom Coast in the Breezy Plains region, and that is the same habitat where wild Erlath shows up. If you would rather not grind the evolution material immediately, the coast is the fastest place to bank a spare Fahloo or two while you level the first one.

Every stat moves up, and the totals go from 459 to 540. The role does not change, so Erlath keeps doing the same job as an Energy unit, just with a much better EP Regen figure behind it.

New skills Erlath gains after evolving

Fahloo carries ATK, Bubble Blast and Here Comes the Bubble. Erlath keeps all three and adds two more.

Bubbles is the reason to evolve at all. It drops a bubble field that lasts 15 seconds, and every Water skill a teammate casts inside it spawns another bubble, up to six. Tap the skill again to pop them all: each bubble returns 2.5 EP, and absorbing a puddle first adds another 10 EP on top.

Crazy Bubbles is an innate skill with a 20-second cooldown and no EP cost. It instantly produces six bubbles and raises Water damage for teammates by 10% for 30 seconds, which pairs neatly with a Water-heavy squad.

Of the inherited moves, only two do damage. Bubble Blast costs 10 EP, has 30 power, knocks targets back and leaves a small bubble behind for nine seconds, with up to three stored charges. ATK is the basic ranged Water attack at 6 power. Here Comes the Bubble costs 20 EP and is pure control, slowing enemy movement by 15% and cutting their EP recovery by 20% while speeding up allies in range by 15% for 15 seconds.

Trait, mobility and traversal changes

Both forms share the Bubble trait: every 12 seconds the Aniimo enters Bathing, and the next skill it casts leaves a puddle on the ground. That puddle is what Erlath’s bubble field feeds on for the extra EP return, so the trait matters more after evolving than before.

The mobility skill stays the same either way. Floaty Bubble has the Aniimo scrub itself to form a large bubble around its body.

  • Fahloo pathfinding: Fly Lv.1, Swim Lv.1
  • Erlath pathfinding: Fly Lv.3, Swim Lv.2
  • Homeland ability: Water Lv.1 on Fahloo, Water Lv.3 on Erlath

The traversal jump is a real reason to evolve early if you use this line for exploration, since Fly Lv.3 opens routes a Lv.1 flier cannot reach.

Erlath type matchups as a Water Aniimo

MultiplierIncoming elements
x1.6Grass, Electric, Ice
x1Wind, Holy
x0.625Fire, Rock, Water, Dark

On offense, Water attacks hit Fire and Rock for 1.6x and land at 0.625x against Grass, Holy, Ice and Water. Keep Erlath out of Ice and Electric fights, since both carry the same 1.6x bonus into it.

Fahloo and Erlath forms and rarities

Neither member of the family has an alternate form. There are no regional variants, no special appearances tied to this line, and nothing to hunt beyond the standard capture.

If you are building a Water team, the evolution is worth planning around rather than stumbling into. Hold a Wave Stone before Fahloo reaches level 49 so the swap happens the moment it qualifies, and the bubble field starts paying your squad back in EP right away.
