How to update Aniimo
Updates arrive through whichever client you installed. Confirm you are on the newest build before reporting any of the issues listed above.
You know the update worked when the client reports the game is up to date and the version matches the newest build listed above.
Aniimo server status
Servers are live and running, and there is no scheduled maintenance at this time. When downtime is planned, the developers post the window ahead of time, and the client blocks logins until the servers return.
What changed for the global launch
The single largest set of changes did not arrive as a numbered patch. It landed with the launch build itself, rewriting several systems that beta testers had used. If you played a closed beta, expect these mechanics to work differently now.

Rune system removed and training simplified
The rune system is gone entirely. Carried items were simplified, Legendary Star Dust output was increased, and Capability Awakening on any Aniimo under level 60 can be reset with all training materials returned. That makes early experimentation far less costly than it was in the beta.

Legendary capture rebuilt around crafted Aniipods
There is no need to repeatedly grind challenge dungeons to catch Legendary Aniimo. Instead, world exploration and story progress award legendary tokens; once enough are collected, craft a personal Legendary Aniipod. With Irisalis, meeting the token requirement starts a single narrative boss encounter, and the capture takes place there.

The Legendary Aniipod enables this process. The Polaris Institute constructs it with energy taken from an Astral Bead. Inside Vein Rifts, it stabilizes chaotic energy and converts the violent force into a mild current, calming a rampaging Legendary Aniimo long enough for capture.
Prismana odds flattened and the Lucky Strike mechanic
Prismana is obtained differently now. Its base nurturing trigger chance is fixed, and early-game probability decay has been removed; encounter odds therefore do not decline with continued play. Catching also has a Lucky Strike mechanic, which awards items, increases Prismatic Energy, and may directly activate Prismana Flow.

Umbral variants and higher spawn rates
Wild Surges may now spawn Umbral Aniimo with Perfect Potential. When nurturing an ecosystem, the amount of Prismatic Energy granted is fixed and does not depend on the quality of the offered item. Rates for high-potential wild Aniimo at 9/9 and 10/10 were raised as well.

Capability caps and Capafruit inheritance
Capability slots now unlock gradually, tied to an Aniimo’s level and its resonance star rank. During inheritance, Capafruit effects transfer automatically between Aniimo, so you no longer lose those gains when passing traits along.

Other launch changes included expanded Home and RV features, longer furniture catalogs with group sharing codes, and an upgraded Operation: Egg Heist with a new Chaos Mode. With the PC and console launch settled, the upcoming mobile release on iOS and Android is next, and a separate NVIDIA ACE update that lets you speak to your Aniimo is planned for early 2027.
