Aniimo Microtransactions: Which Items Are Worth Buying

The Monthly Pass, Weekly Value Supplies, and first-time Lumin Crystal bonuses return the most for your money in the Aniimo shop.

The Monthly Pass, Weekly Value Supplies, and first-time Lumin Crystal bonuses return the most for your money in the Aniimo shop.

Aniimo is free to play, and the shop is built around two currencies. Lumin Crystals are the premium currency you top up with real money, while Glimmer is the scarcer flexible currency you mostly earn in game. A handful of purchases give far more per dollar than the rest, and knowing which ones keeps you from spending Lumin on items that regular play already hands you.

Quick answer: The best-value buys are the $4.99 Monthly Pass, the 60-Lumin Weekly Value Supplies pack, and any Lumin Crystal tier bought for its one-time first-purchase bonus.

Best-value purchases in the Aniimo shop

These four offers carry the strongest return. The first two suit almost everyone, while the Companion Handbook pays off only if you play through the season and the top-up tiers matter chiefly for their first-time bonus.

Monthly Pass rewards for $4.99

The Monthly Pass is the single strongest purchase for anyone playing regularly. Buying it instantly drops 330 Lumin Crystals into your account, which nearly covers the price on its own. Over the following 30 days it also delivers 100 Glimmer each day, for 3,000 Glimmer total, plus 6,000 Companion EXP.

Beyond the currency, the pass doubles your Primegy cap and cuts hatching time for the length of the term. That combination of instant crystals, daily Glimmer, and faster progression is why it sits at the top for players who log in most days.

Companion Handbook editions

The Companion Handbook is Aniimo’s battle pass. It hands out extra rewards at every level and only earns its keep if you expect to play through the season and climb the reward track. Two paid editions are available.

EditionPriceKey rewards
Advanced$9.99Prismana Fulmintis Egg, per-level rewards, Sparkling Cube, Glimmer and materials
Collector’s / Keepsakes$19.99Everything in Advanced, plus exclusive cosmetics and a Primegy Battery

If you already own the Advanced edition, an upgrade to the Collector’s tier is offered separately, so you do not need to buy the full pass twice.

Weekly Value Supplies for small spenders

If you want to spend only a little, the Weekly Value Supplies pack is the pick. It costs 60 Lumin Crystals and can be bought once per week. Each purchase contains 120 Glimmer, 120 Voxel Coin, and 2 Vein Essence, which is a strong return for the lowest price point in the pack list.

Higher-tier bundles exist for players who want to move faster, such as the Adventure Pack, Champion’s Gift, and the season-long Season Keepsakes. These carry Sparkling Cubes, Aniipod Ultras, and progression materials, but their value depends on whether you actually need those items right now rather than on the price alone.

Lumin Crystal top-up tiers and the first-time bonus

Lumin Crystals are bought under the shop’s Top Up option across six tiers. If you plan to spend a larger amount, buy the tier you want for its first-time bonus, which adds extra crystals on the first purchase of each price point. Later purchases at the same tier only give the standard amount.

The Monthly Pass and the Companion Handbook can be bought directly with your local currency, so you do not need to top up Lumin Crystals first for those two.

Direct shop items and what they cost

The shop also sells consumables directly. Capture items like Aniipod Ultra and the Sparkling Cube are paid for with Lumin Crystals, while character utility items are paid for with Glimmer. These are expensive per unit, so hold them back until you are certain you want to secure a Sparkling Aniimo rather than buying them for general value.

Cosmetics are optional

Outfits and appearance items are bought with Lumin Crystals from the Appearance Shop, with prices such as 380 Lumin for Lulu Starlight and 1,280 Lumin for Razor Edge or Frostwolf Spirit. A character’s look has no effect on training efficiency, so buy these only when there is a costume you genuinely want.

You can skip spending entirely

You can begin Aniimo without paying, and nothing is mandatory for play. Creatures join your roster by being found in the world, not through a paid banner, so spending money affects speed and convenience—not access. Start as a free player, see whether you enjoy the game, then choose between the Monthly Pass, a Companion Handbook, or the Weekly Value Supplies pack according to your budget.
