The Everspring Umbrella is a Bamboocut umbrella martial art in Where Winds Meet, added in the 1.4 Hexi update.
Everspring Umbrella unlock requirements
| Requirement | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Touch of Death Mystic Arts | You need it for the South Imperial Garden theft route because guards must be eliminated on the way in. |
| The Realm Endures Side Story | Completing it unlocks Touch of Death. |
| Access to South Imperial Garden | The theft route starts inside that area. |
| Hollow Vale Sect membership | This is the alternate unlock path for the martial art. |

How to know Everspring Umbrella unlocked
The unlock is complete when the theft interaction succeeds, and the martial art is added to your martial arts list. If you use the sect route, it unlocks once Hollow Vale membership and its required conditions are fulfilled.
Why the South Imperial Garden route fails
| Problem | Result |
|---|---|
| Touch of Death is not unlocked | The guard takedowns needed for the route cannot be completed. |
| A guard spots you before the final room | The stealth route breaks and reaching the theft point becomes much harder. |
| You miss the blue circle on the bookshelf | You will not get the steal prompt for the martial art. |
Hollow Vale Sect unlock route
Everspring Umbrella also unlocks through the Hollow Vale Sect. That path is tied to joining the sect and completing its requirements.
If you do not want to run the South Imperial Garden stealth route, the sect path is the clean alternative. The end result is the same: Everspring Umbrella is added as an unlockable martial art.

What Everspring Umbrella actually unlocks
| Skill | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cyclone Waltz | Creates a spinning pull around you, deals continuous damage, grants Tenacity, and can swap your position with a Phantom Umbrella. |
| Scarlet Spin | Starts Flower Burial for 12 seconds and lets you throw returning umbrellas by spending Fading Crimson. |
| Dreamwrought Bubbles | A charged returning umbrella throw that hits twice and creates a Phantom Umbrella at maximum distance for 5 seconds. |
| Umbrella basics | Includes light attacks, defense, dodge, dash, execute, airborne attacks, and deflection. |
Everspring Umbrella use after unlock
The weapon is built around a clear burst window. Scarlet Spin opens Flower Burial, Dreamwrought Bubbles creates the Phantom Umbrella that powers your movement tricks, and Cyclone Waltz groups enemies while letting you reposition.
If you want a matching weapon setup after the unlock, Everspring Umbrella pairs naturally with Unfettered Rope Dart. Umbrella handles mid-range pressure and enemy grouping, while Rope Dart takes over for close-range burst.
If you are using the theft route, the only part that really matters is reaching the bookshelf and stealing the martial art without losing control of the guard path. Once that interaction lands, Everspring Umbrella is yours.
