Marvel Rivals: Jeff’s Superstar Search Day 3 Star Location

The third daily star hides behind the Pym Test Kitchen stall at Hellfire Bay Beach — here's the fastest route to it.

The third daily star hides behind the Pym Test Kitchen stall at Hellfire Bay Beach — here’s the fastest route to it.

The third daily clue in Jeff’s Superstar Search sends players back to Hellfire Bay Beach rather than Times Square. The hint describes a vehicle that hands out size changes and a shrunken Jeff, which points straight at the Pym Test Kitchen food truck parked on the sand.

Quick answer: Load into Hellfire Bay Beach from the event menu, head down the left side of the beach to the Pym Test Kitchen stall, and grab the glowing star tucked behind it.

Where the Day 3 star is on Hellfire Bay Beach

Hellfire Bay Beach is one of the two hub locations used by the event, and the Day 3 star sits at ground level rather than on a rooftop. Face the water from the spawn area and follow the left-hand stretch of sand until you reach the Pym Test Kitchen food truck. The star floats in the gap behind the stall, so you need to circle around it instead of approaching from the front.

Stars are small and easy to miss, but they are rarely lonely. A cluster of other players standing still in one spot is usually the fastest visual marker for the day’s hiding place.

How to collect the Day 3 star

Open the Events menu from the main screen and select Jeff’s Superstar Search. Choose the option to travel to Hellfire Bay Beach and confirm to load into the map.
Pick a hero with strong mobility at the selection screen. Iron Man works well for the run down the beach, and any flier such as Angela does the job just as easily.

Keep to the beach’s left edge until you reach the Pym Test Kitchen food truck stall. Go behind the truck, drop down, and spot the glowing star suspended there.
Walk into range and press the interact key shown on screen to pick it up. On PC that is the standard interact prompt, and the star vanishes the moment it registers.

Open the pause menu, leave the beach, and return to the main menu. Nothing else on the map is tied to the daily clue, so there is no reason to linger.

Confirming the Day 3 star registered

Back at the main menu, reopen Events and select Jeff’s Superstar Search. The progress display is drawn as a star, and each point fills in as you collect. If the third point is now solid, the day is done and nothing else is required until the next clue rotates in.

The alternative: Win three matches instead

You have two daily ways to earn the same star. One is to solve the clue; the other is to win three matches in Quick Match, Competitive, Arcade, or Practice VS AI. Each method grants one star, but only one can be collected per day, making both unnecessary. Once you know its location, reaching the star is much quicker.

Event dates, daily reset, and rewards

Jeff’s Superstar Search runs from September 17 to October 9, 2026, with the clock ticking over at 09:00 UTC (2AM PT) at both ends. A fresh clue replaces the old one at that same daily reset, which gives you a 24-hour window per star. You need 10 stars in total to finish the track, so there is plenty of slack built into the 22-day window if you miss a day or two.

  • One star per day, from either the clue or three match wins.
  • Stars hide on either Hellfire Bay Beach or Times Square, never both in a day.
  • Ten stars unlocks everything the event offers.

All three rewards are free, and they unlock the moment you cross each milestone rather than at the end of the event. Once the tenth star is banked, the daily clues stop mattering for you entirely.
