Recover the Lost Pages is available very early in Slayers 2, but it is easy to get stuck because the game does not highlight the pages. All five are within the opening zone, Windy Peak Village, hidden beside walls, barrels, and bamboo that make them hard to notice. Completing it grants the Book of Guidance, which directs you to the next recommended quest and its associated NPCs—especially useful in a game that provides almost no onboarding.
Quick answer: Take the quest from Kona, then collect five Lost Pages scattered across Windy Peak Village in any order and return to Kona for the Book of Guidance.
Start Recover the Lost Pages at Kona
The quest is optional, so nothing forces you into it. Skipping it means navigating the early game blind, which is why it is worth the two minutes it takes.

Recover the Lost Pages 0/5 with Lost Pages 0/5 and Book of Guidance 0/1 listed underneath. That second line is the reward counter.Lost Page Pick Up prompt appears. There is no set order, so grab whichever one you reach first.Join readers who trust AllThings. How

Every page sits inside the village boundary, so you never need to fight anything to finish this. Use the table as a checklist, then read the notes below for the two spots people usually walk straight past.
| Page | Landmark | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Kona’s house | Dirt path by the wooden barrels |
| 2 | Perimeter wall | Corner by the big tree and flowers |
| 3 | Windy Peak crystal | Grass beside the pink crystal |
| 4 | Bamboo house | Grass edge near the bamboo |
| 5 | Torii gate courtyard | Between the large tree and the rock |
Page on the dirt path beside Kona
The closest page to the quest giver. Leave Kona’s house and follow the dirt path along the side of the building toward the main gate. The page lies flat on the ground next to the wooden barrels and a stone lantern, close to the spawn point, so it is the hardest one to miss.

Page along the perimeter wall by the large tree
Stand inside the village facing the main gate and turn left instead of walking out. Hug the stone wall past the patch of pink flowers until you hit the corner where a large tree stands. The page is on the ground right beside it, and a red indicator arrow appears once you are close.

Page next to the Windy Peak crystal
Head for the glowing pink crystal that marks the Windy Peak fast travel point. The page rests on the grass right beside it. If you have already unlocked the point, you will see the Windy Peak Fast Travel prompt as you approach, which makes this the easiest landmark to return to later.

Page in the bamboo behind the blue-roofed house
Head to the house nearest the gate, identifiable by the bamboo around it and the NPC MoldySugar nearby. Get onto the elevated stone wall, then drop behind the blue-roofed structure to reach the roof. From there, the page is on the green grass beside the bamboo rather than along the main road.

Page in the courtyard near the torii gate
Go through the red torii gate to the open grass courtyard. The final page is normally on the ground in the space separating a large tree from a dark rock, with the NPCs Yogider Sasuke and a Civilian close by. On the route, Kazu stands at the stone wall; also inspect the grassy hollow behind it, where the page may rest in the corner at the drop-off.

Other spots to sweep if a page is missing
Pages hug walls and props, which is why one of the five almost always ends up being the holdout. If your counter is stuck at 4/5, walk these landmarks slowly and watch for the pickup prompt rather than the page model itself.
- The three stacked barrels on the path leading to the biggest house in the village.
- The wall beside the ramp that runs up toward the barbecue lady.
- The small green grass patch on the side of the house nearest the main gate.
- The stone ledge and slope between the central plateau and the torii gate area.
The whole village is a safe zone, so you can sprint and jump between landmarks without worrying about Paza’s Bandits or anything else spawning on you.
Turn in the quest and claim the Book of Guidance
You will know the collection phase is done when the tracker reads Lost Pages 5/5 after the final pickup. Run back through the village to Kona and talk to him again to close the quest out and take the Book of Guidance, which shows up in your inventory tagged with a New! label.
From there, the book does the job the game’s early tutorial does not. It flags the next recommended quest and the NPC attached to it, so instead of circling Windy Peak Village trying to guess where progression continues, you get a direction to follow.
