AOT Grand Rising is a Roblox Attack on Titan project that has been building in public for months, mostly through Discord sneak peeks, Blender animation clips, and private test servers. It is not playable yet, but enough of it has been shown — the movement system, the Titan models, the menus, the maps — to describe what the game actually is rather than what it might become.

Quick answer: AOT Grand Rising is an unreleased Roblox game still in development. No release date is confirmed. Everything shown so far comes from private test builds and developer previews, not a public experience.


AOT Grand Rising: What the game is right now

The project is led by a developer who goes by Ciggy, with a small credited team covering animation, sound effects, and UI work. In-game screens carry the line “Attack on Titan: Grand Rising | Developed by Grand Attack on Titan Corporation | @Rab8it Corporation ALL RIGHTS RESERVED,” which is the closest thing to a studio label the game has shown.

The main menu is built around a “PRESS ANYTHING” title screen with buttons for Play Game, Settings, Customization, and Credits. A second menu concept swaps in Play, Customize, Credits, Settings, and Extras. The Credits page is currently split into Leadership, Game Design, Programming, Art & Visuals, and Audio sections, with placeholder names still filling most of the roles.

Some of that interface work drew criticism from players who felt the menus looked AI-generated, and the team has kept iterating on the layouts since. The UI is the least settled part of the game, and menu screens have changed noticeably between preview rounds.

ODM gear controls in the test build

The Omni-Directional Mobility system is the centerpiece and has been rebuilt for physics-driven swinging instead of a fixed grapple path. In the test environment — a flat baseplate with green pillars and glowing yellow pads — the controls are split across separate hooks so you can pick which side you anchor to.

Both hooks can be used together for a centered swing or independently to pivot around a structure. Holding boost while your character is against a wall shifts into a run along the surface, which chains into the next anchor point. The HUD tracks this with SPEED and GAS ACTIVE readouts.

Footage recorded by the developer shows how the system looks at a higher skill level, with long uninterrupted chains of swings, boosts, and wall runs across the pillar course. First-person mode is the notable addition here, since it changes how far ahead you can read your next anchor.

Titan models and animations finished so far

The Beast Titan is the furthest along. Its animation set covers picking up a boulder, a full wind-up throwing motion, and wall climbing, and its face has been rigged down to the eyes. An August 2026 roadmap listed it as complete.

The Armored Titan was still marked work-in-progress on that same roadmap, alongside general systems work. Its animation previews include a running cycle, a looping walk with hair physics, and a drop-kick attack.

Transformation has been tested in-game as well. A player character shifts into the Beast Titan through a yellow lightning pillar and shockwave, both on a bare testing baseplate and out on a grassy hill, with health mechanics being checked at the same time.

Gear and weapon models have had a similar level of attention. Renders cover gas masks, harnesses, belts, scabbards, blade triggers with leather grips, gas connection valves, hip packs, and a detailed textured flare gun. Rideable horses have been modeled and rigged with a skeleton.


Game modes, maps, and environments

The mode selection screen lists four options, each with a one-line description in the interface.

Warfare has its own purpose-built arena, a circular multi-tiered fortress set in a desert, shown from the air in overview shots. It is the largest single environment revealed so far.

Named locations so far include Shiganshina and Fort Slava, the latter shown as a layout model. Other environment work covers a medieval district with red-tiled roofs, courtyards and trees inside tall walls, furnished house interiors, grassy plains, and misty tree lines in the distance. Loading screens use a “Travelling To SHIGANSHINA” title card with rotating gameplay tips.


Factions, ranks, and skill points

Players are sorted into one of two origins, Eldian or Marleyan, and that label appears on the scoreboard next to each name. The scoreboard tracks Player Name, Origin, Most Kills, Damage, Transforms, and Heals, which tells you the match design counts Titan transformations and support play as scoring categories, not just kills.

Progression runs on ranks and skill points. A loading screen tip spells out the plan directly.

Did You Know? Every rank you get a certain amount of Skill Points, which you can invest in your skill points, and progress your Titan Shifting, or ODM. Each Stat has it’s own passives, and result statistics.

In practice that means two upgrade paths, Titan Shifting and ODM, each with stats that carry their own passive effects. The match HUD supporting this includes a MATCH TIMER, an OBJECTIVES list with a Current Mission line, and end-of-round screens reading VICTORY, DEFEAT, GAME HAS ENDED, and YOU HAVE DIED with a respawn countdown.


AOT Grand Rising release date status and official channels

There is no confirmed release date or launch window for AOT Grand Rising. Nothing is publicly playable on Roblox, and every build shown has been a private test server. Treat any specific date circulating in community posts as unverified until the team states one.

Attack on Titan Revolution is a separate, already-released Roblox game. Codes, spins, and Family perks belong to that experience and have nothing to do with Grand Rising.

Updates land first in the team’s Discord “sneaks” channel and then get mirrored to the official AOT Grand Rising YouTube channel, which posts short model, animation, and transformation clips. The project also runs a Patreon for funding, where some sneak previews sit behind paid posts, plus accounts on X, TikTok, and Twitch.

What has been shown is a systems-first approach: movement, Titan rigs, and match structure built before the surrounding content. That is a reasonable order of operations for a game like this, but it also means the pieces most players judge a Roblox release on — the maps you actually fight in and the modes you queue for — are the parts still being assembled.
