Emberpup is a basic form Aniimo with fluffy, charcoal-like fur that likes to trail behind Flameruffs. It shows up in four regions on the Breezy Plains map, but one spot in particular puts a catchable one right in front of you within seconds of landing.
Quick answer: Emberpup spawns in Nimbus Fields, The Argent Strait, Echoback Landing, and Beast Fang Ridge. The most reliable pickup is coordinates -1611, 0613 in The Argent Strait, where a Level 27 Emberpup roams the open grass.

Emberpup spawn regions in Breezy Plains
The Aniilog entry lists four hunting grounds, all of them on the Breezy Plains map. Level bands differ enough that the region you pick decides how tough the wild Emberpup you meet will be.
| Area | Region | Area level range |
|---|---|---|
| Breezy Plains | — | |
| Breezy Plains | 28–32 | |
| Breezy Plains | 30–35 | |
| Breezy Plains | 36–40 |
The Argent Strait
This is the lowest-level of the confirmed Emberpup areas and the one worth visiting first. The zone sits in the 28–32 band and has a single bonfire, so you have a fixed point to return to if you want to run the spawn loop more than once.

Beast Fang Ridge
Beast Fang Ridge runs a little hotter at 30–35, and it is the densest area of the four for general exploration, with 62 chests and two bonfires scattered across it. If you are already clearing the ridge, keep an Anipod on the quick slot rather than making a separate trip.

Echoback Landing
Echoback Landing tops out at 36–40, with individual stretches of the zone scaling between 34 and 39. Catching here means a higher-level Emberpup out of the box, which saves training time but needs a stronger team to soften it up first.

A Level 27 catch lands at CP 491, with ATK +10 and BREAK +5 on its stat sheet.

Emberpup skills and traits
Emberpup arrives with a small fire-leaning kit and two traits that shape how it plays in a squad.

| Name | Type | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Fire Bolt | Skill | Magical, Aim |
| Fire Kick | Skill | Physical, Dodge, Pound |
| Skill | Base skill | |
| Scorching Flames | Trait | +25% damage to countered targets |
| Hustle | Trait | Base trait |
Scorching Flames is the reason to bother with Emberpup early. The 25% bonus only fires when you are hitting something your element already counters, so it rewards swapping Emberpup in for specific matchups rather than leaving it on the field permanently. Once it is in your roster, the Star Up screen and Held Items slots are where the rest of its growth comes from.
