The Warden is playable in Black Ops 7 and Warzone, but he does not sit behind a level requirement or a store purchase. To equip him, you have to finish the Super Easter Egg, which the game frames as surviving a “playdate with the Twins.” That phrasing is vague, yet the path itself is straightforward once you know the order of operations.
Quick answer: Complete every round-based Main Quest, then collect one toy on each of the six Zombies maps and clear the Rex Infernus boss rush. The Warden Operator unlocks the moment you return to the lobby.
Finish all six Main Quests first
The Super Easter Egg does not begin until you have completed the Main Quest on every round-based Zombies map. This is the gate for the entire hunt, so any map you have skipped needs clearing before the toy chain becomes available.

Every quest is valid on Standard, Directed, or Cursed difficulty, meaning a guided Directed playthrough satisfies the requirement. Collect one toy on each map
With the six Main Quests behind you, head back into each map, find its Toy Box, and solve the map’s toy quest. Every map yields a single distinct toy, and you must successfully Exfil to keep it. Run these segments in Standard, since the toy-box interactions do not reliably appear in Directed Mode.

Each collected toy appears on a shelf inside Her House on Rex Infernus. That shelf is your progress tracker, so you can confirm at a glance which toys you still owe.
Trigger the boss rush in Rex Infernus
The Warden toy is the last one, and it comes from the Rex Infernus portion of the chain. Once all six toys are placed on the shelf inside Her House, you can start the finale whenever your loadout is ready, meaning weapons, perks, armor, and field upgrades are set up for a hard fight.
Placing the final Warden toy on the shelf begins the boss rush. You face four bosses back to back in this order:
- Z-Rex
- The Guardian
- Caltheris the Needle
- The Warden, including his fourth phase
Beating the Warden at the end of that gauntlet is what the game calls surviving your playdate with the Twins. There is no separate step after the fight beyond finishing it.
How to confirm the unlock
As soon as you clear the boss rush and return to the lobby, the Warden Operator is waiting for you. You can then equip him freely as a playable character in both multiplayer and Warzone, the same way you would swap to any other Operator. If he is in your Operator list, the Super Easter Egg is complete, and no further steps are needed.
