Jailbreak in The Hunt: Roblox 20 — All 5 NPC Locations

Jailbreak’s entry in The Hunt: Roblox 20 is a rescue run. Five characters pulled out of Roblox history have been scattered across the event map, and saving all of them unlocks the Roblox 20 /// Quest badge plus the Guest 417 Wing spoiler for your garage. The event runs until September 28, 2026.

All 5 NPC locations in Jailbreak

Every target sits at a fixed spot and glows yellow when you get close, so the search is really a travel problem rather than a hunt. Four of the five are on the ground and can be reached on foot or by car.

Jailbreak swaps in a 2017-style map for the event, so landmarks will not always match the layout you know from normal rounds. If a route feels wrong, confirm you are in the event version of the experience.

Starting the quest and the fastest rescue route

You can reach the quest either by working through The Hunt hub to the 2017 map and taking the portal, or by joining Jailbreak directly. The order below keeps driving to a minimum by clearing the prison first, then looping through town, the city, the Museum and the Train Station.

Head to the main prison yard and press E on the Noob NPC to start the quest. A cutscene plays explaining that 1x1x1x1 has dragged old accounts into Jailbreak, and it names all five characters you need to save.

Before leaving the prison, walk to the left of the event hypezone inside the building and rescue Guest 417. He is the closest target to your spawn point, and picking him up first saves a trip back later.

Escape through the sewer tunnel, spawn a car from the garage menu, and drive toward the town area. The Donut Shop sits along the main road past the underpass.

Park outside the Donut Shop and find KreekCraft standing in front of the storefront window. Hold E to rescue him and your counter moves to 1/5 or 2/5 depending on your order.

Drive into the city and stop near the Jewelry Store. DenisDaily is on the roof, so handle him before you head back out of the city.

Leave the city and drive to the Museum. Jane Doe stands on the ground near the entrance stairs, making her the simplest rescue of the five.

Finish at the Train Station near the desert road. Maplestick stands on the raised platform under the shelter, so you may need a short jump to reach him.

How to reach DenisDaily on the Jewelry Store roof

DenisDaily is the only target that is not directly walkable, and the zipline will not get you up there. There are two reliable ways onto the roof.

Join the criminal team, enter the Jewelry Store, and take the ladder on the side of the building up to the roof.
At the police station, use the ladder, spawn a helicopter, fly above the Jewelry Store, and leap onto its roof.

Once you are up, DenisDaily is tucked into a corner of the roof with the same yellow highlight as the rest. Hold E to complete the rescue.

A helicopter doubles as the fastest way to sweep between the Museum, Train Station and city if you are short on time or keep getting pulled into fights on the roads.

How to confirm the quest completed

The counter on screen ticks up with every successful interaction, so you can track progress from 1/5 through 5/5 as you go. After the fifth rescue registers, a prompt appears telling you the quest is complete and asking you to return to the hub for your reward. The Roblox 20 /// Quest badge unlocks on its own at that point.

The quest counts five different characters, so rescuing the same one twice will not advance anything. If your total looks short, work out which name you have not touched yet rather than retracing spots at random.

The Guest 417 Wing is a spoiler, so check the Spoiler category in the Jailbreak Garage to equip it. The event’s avatar reward is handled separately through the event hub — head back to The Hunt: Roblox 20, interact with the cube, and travel to the rewards platform to claim it there. Nothing on the avatar side is claimed from inside Jailbreak.

Beyond the quest, the anniversary update also brings a limited 0% Tint and a free Star Truck revamp, both worth grabbing while the event map is live. Neither affects quest progress, so clear the five rescues first and browse the garage afterwards.
