The Underwater Rocks task is the diving portion of Urokodaki’s Water Breathing training in Project Slayers 2, and it stops a lot of players for one reason: the crystals sit on the riverbed, and your character drowns if you stay down too long. The task itself is short once you know what you are looking for and which key picks it up.

Quick answer: In the Bamboo Forest, enter the river near Urokodaki. On the riverbed, press T to collect each of the five blue, glowing Sea Crystals, and return to the surface between dives to replenish oxygen.

Underwater Rocks Quest requirements in Project Slayers 2

The task is part of the training Urokodaki sets before he teaches Water Breathing, so it is not an optional side objective. Everything you need is in the water itself — there is no crafting, no shop purchase, and no boss fight attached to it.

Breathing Styles in general are gated behind trainers and level requirements, so if Urokodaki will not hand you the training at all, the block is your level rather than the dive.

Where to find the Sea Crystals

Load into a server and make your way toward the Bamboo Forest, the wooded area where Urokodaki’s training takes place. You can launch the game from the official Slayers 2 Roblox page; the main menu is also where update notes and code redemption live.

New characters drop into Windy Peak among the village houses, which is your starting point for the run out to the river. Follow the path toward the Bamboo Forest rather than exploring sideways — the quest marker only resolves once you are at the water.

The crystals do not float or sit on the bank. They rest flat on the bottom of the river and give off a blue glow that is easy to spot once your camera is under the surface. A bridge crosses the river nearby, which is a useful landmark for finding the surface quickly when your oxygen is low.

How to collect the 5 Sea Crystals

Stand on the grassy riverbank beside the water and jump in. Your character swims automatically once in the river.
Point the camera downward and dive to the riverbed. The water is not deep, so you reach the bottom in a couple of seconds.
Swim along the bottom and watch for the blue glow. Crystals are spread out along the riverbed rather than clustered in one pile, so expect to cover some distance between them.
Move right up to a crystal until the prompt appears reading Sea Crystal — T Pick Up, then press T. The crystal is added to your count immediately.
Swim back to the surface before your oxygen runs out, wait for the meter to refill, then dive again.
Repeat the dive-and-surface loop until all five crystals are picked up. Two or three crystals per dive is a realistic pace.

Oxygen and drowning damage while diving

Oxygen is the only real difficulty here, and it behaves the same way every dive.

  • A blue bubble meter next to your character tracks remaining air.
  • The meter drains continuously while you are below the surface.
  • When it empties, the screen flashes red and you start taking drowning damage.
  • Breaking the surface refills the meter, so short dives are safer than one long sweep.

Treat the red screen flash as a hard stop rather than a warning — surface the moment it appears instead of trying to grab one more crystal.

How to confirm the quest is complete

The quest tracker on the left side of the screen counts each pickup as you press T. When the counter reaches five, the tracker updates and the training objective clears, which is your confirmation that every crystal registered. If the number has not moved after a pickup attempt, you were not close enough for the prompt to fire — swim back to the same spot and press T once the “T Pick Up” text is on screen.

Level and travel prerequisites before the training

Human Breathing Styles unlock at level 25, and each trainer also asks for materials such as Demon Horns or Beast Cores. If you are short on levels, early combat areas like Zapiwara Cave are the usual grinding ground, with quest-giving NPCs stationed at the entrance.

The same cave houses other NPCs further inside, including the Demon Art Spin, which belongs to the Demon path rather than Breathing training.

Village quest-givers such as Grandpa Shiron offer an alternative source of early experience if you would rather not farm the cave.

Travel between trainers is far less painful with a mount. Wild horses can be tamed for 15,000 Wen, and horse NPCs around the map handle the interaction.

Once the five Sea Crystals are in hand, the dive portion of the training is finished and you can return to Urokodaki to continue toward Water Breathing. The trainer himself sits behind an underwater passage near the Bear area — look below the cliff for the small house on an island, then find the water-filled hole beside it and swim straight through without stopping.
