Vesna is the blonde woman who walks into the middle of a fistfight in Version 7.1’s Snezhnaya story, plucks a spinning Mora coin out of the air, and tells a Fatui maid to stop treating restaurant guests like training dummies. That entrance says most of what you need to know about her rank: she outranks nearly everyone in the room, and she does not raise her voice to prove it.
Quick answer: As leader of the Druzhna, Tsaritsa’s guard, Vesna Strivozha wields an Anemo Stellar Linchpin rather than a Vision. She is a 5-star Anemo sword DPS whose banner runs from September 23 to October 13, 2026.
Vesna’s rank and family in Snezhnaya
The Druzhna answers to Vesna and serves as the Tsaritsa’s close protection force. Recruited mainly from the Vila, it deals with Shadow Realm breaches. Its title comes from the druzhina, the warrior company that served a medieval knyaz. Strivozha is Vesna’s house, an ancient Vila lineage that predates Snezhnaya’s violent early years by a long span.
| Field | Detail |
|---|---|
| Full name | Vesna Strivozha |
| Title | Snowy Banquet’s Sharp Blade |
| Role | Commander of the Druzhna |
| Element source | Stellar Linchpin: Anemo |
| Weapon | Sword |
| Rarity | 5-star |
| Constellation | Amentum Vernum |
| Region | Snezhnaya |
Her constellation name, Amentum Vernum, translates roughly as “the spear strap of spring,” which fits both her title and her temperament. Off duty she is a prankster, to the point that the head housemaid of Zapolyarny Palace warns new staff about her in advance.
“Should you suddenly find the contents of my plate replaced with lemon slices, or doodles drawn on the bottom of my teacup… Don’t make a fuss — rather, turn a blind eye. The greater the reaction to these pranks, the more delighted she who hides in the shadows will be.”
Early in her career the palace called her “that little lass from House Strivozha.” Her results eventually made the nickname impossible to keep using. She is also known for driving the train fast enough that the scenery blurs and a reprimand is waiting at the terminus.

Add to Google Preferences →Why Vesna has a Stellar Linchpin instead of a Vision
Her official card reads “Stellar Linchpin: Anemo,” not “Vision: Anemo,” and that wording is a gameplay signal rather than flavor text. Stellar Linchpins are Snezhnayan artefacts that let their bearers command an element the way a Vision does. Every playable Linchpin user carries a Stellar Jubilee Passive, which unlocks Stellar Glimmer Reactions.
Two of those reactions exist so far, Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl, and they do something ordinary reactions do not: they interrupt a specific attack used by Snowland Fae and Aberrant Chimeric Monsters, the two enemy families that populate Snezhnaya’s overworld. Vesna’s damage runs through Stellar-Swirl, which triggers Stellar Vortex on Cryo-affected enemies and adds jump height.
The documented Linchpin bearers so far:
- Sandrone
- Odette
- Vesna
- Danica
- Mitya
- The Cryo Traveler, who also receives a Stellar Jubilee Passive
The Podvorye Restaurant scene: what Vesna walks in on
Vesna’s introduction in the Version 7.1 story happens at the tail end of a long dinner. Danica, the head housemaid of the Snezhnayan royal house, sits herself down at the Traveler and Paimon’s table at the Podvorye Restaurant and orders her usual set meal.

Most of the scene is a meal. She eats, sips tea, and watches the Traveler the entire time, which is the point — the dinner is an assessment, not a social call.

She eventually starts talking, reading the Traveler’s bearing and running through their record against the Fatui across Teyvat. She also reveals that Il Capitano taught her martial arts personally, and thanks the Traveler for what they did for him in Natlan.

Nefedov, the restaurant’s owner, keeps the food coming through all of this. He is the one who later gets handed the bill.

The conversation turns pointed when Danica asks how the Traveler sees the Tsaritsa. The answer — cooperation now does not rule out conflict later — is what pushes her to stop asking questions.

She then proposes the Mora game, a military test of threat level. She flips a coin and comes across the dining hall at the Traveler in close-quarters combat.

How Vesna ends the fight
Vesna catches the Mora mid-air, and the skirmish stops there. She dresses Danica down for brawling inside a restaurant and for handling prospective guests that roughly — the framing matters, because it marks the Traveler as a guest rather than a target.
Then she settles the bill. She orders Caviar Blinis to go, tells Nefedov to move the Traveler’s tab onto her own account, and leaves. Danica exits shortly after with a reminder that the Traveler’s audience with the Tsaritsa is still coming, and that the two of them will see each other again.
Evaluating the Traveler’s strength ahead of that audience was Vesna’s job in the first place. Danica’s coin toss was not the sanctioned version of that test, which is why Vesna shuts it down rather than letting it finish.
You will know the scene is over when the achievement The Deciding Factor pops and the quest “Light and Shadow, Intertwined” updates to “Return to your room to rest.” Control returns to free roam at that point.
Vesna as a playable character and her banner window
Vesna is a 5-star Anemo sword user built as a Stellar-Swirl main DPS. Her Elemental Skill, The Art of Victory, puts her into an Anemo infusion state and carries most of her damage, with her Burst, For the Tsaritsa!, folded into the same combo. Her normal attack string is Vila Blade Dance. Her signature sword is Beyond the Chrysalis.

Between the Druzhna command post, the Linchpin, and the way she handles a subordinate mid-brawl, Vesna is written as one of the two people standing closest to the Tsaritsa — the other being Danica, who she just told off in a dining room. Both trained under Capitano, and both are going to be in the room when the Traveler finally gets that audience.
