Jailbreak’s contribution to The Hunt: Roblox 20 is a rescue run. Five characters pulled out of Roblox’s past have been scattered across the map by 1x1x1x1, and the badge only fires once all five are back where they belong. The event runs from September 17 to September 28, 2026, so there is a fixed window to finish it.
Quick answer: In the prison yard, speak with the Noob NPC. Then hold E on five glowing characters: Guest 417 and KreekCraft first, followed by Maplestick, Jane Doe, and DenisDaily. You can activate them in any order.

Each one is outlined in a yellow glow once you get close, and a circular E Talk or E Rescue icon appears above their head. You can complete the whole run as a police officer, so escaping the prison as a prisoner is not required.
Starting the quest at the prison
Joining Jailbreak plays an opening cutscene with asimo3089 and Epic_Tank explaining that 1x1x1x1 has been dragging old accounts into the map, and the camera pans to KreekCraft at the Donut Shop to hand you the first lead for free. The quest itself still has to be registered.
E to talk. The dialogue confirms the five missing characters and switches on the highlight system that outlines them when you are nearby.Do not leave the server and rejoin partway through. Doing so can wipe your rescue count and force you to find the characters again.
Where to find each character
Guest 417 — prison yard
The closest rescue to the quest giver. From the Noob NPC, look to the left of the event hypezone and follow the grass toward the perimeter fence. Guest 417 is standing by a tree inside the prison walls. Hold E and the counter moves to 1/5.
KreekCraft — Donut Shop
Grab a car and drive into the town area. KreekCraft is on the sidewalk directly outside the Donut Shop’s front entrance, not inside the building. Step out of your vehicle before interacting, since the prompt will not register from the driver’s seat.
Maplestick — Train Station
Go to the Train Station and find the elevated passenger platform beneath the canopy. Maplestick is standing there, grumbling about being assigned to drive a train. Jump onto the platform if you cannot reach the prompt from below.
Jane Doe — Museum
The simplest rescue in the city. Jane Doe stands on the front steps of the Museum, right in front of the main entrance doors, at ground level. Walk up and hold E.
DenisDaily — Jewelry Store roof
This is the only awkward one. DenisDaily is on top of the Jewelry Store, and the zipline will not get you up there. Two routes work:
- Join the criminal team, enter the store interior, and climb up from inside.
- Spawn a police helicopter at the Police Station, fly over the Jewelry Store, and jump out onto the roof.
Once you are on the roof, DenisDaily is near the upper wall. The prompt changes to E Rescue when you are close enough.
A helicopter is the fastest way to run the whole route. It clears the distance between the Donut Shop, Train Station, Museum, and Jewelry Store, and it solves the rooftop problem at the same time.
How to confirm the badge unlocked
The fifth rescue ends the quest on the spot. Badimo’s closing line appears — “You did it! Reality is holding together for now” — and the Roblox 20 quest badge awards automatically, with the standard badge notification showing on screen. There is nothing else to hand in inside Jailbreak.
Other players can still shoot you while you are moving between rescues, so a rescue that does not register usually just means you were knocked out of range before the hold finished. Walk back and hold E again.
Claiming the Guest 417 Wing and Bandit’s Bandana
Completing the run pays out in two different places, which is where most people get stuck.
The Guest 417 Wing is a vehicle cosmetic. Open your Jailbreak garage, go into customization, and look under the Spoiler category — it sits with the newest entries and clips onto a car like a name-tag-style spoiler.
The Bandit’s Bandana avatar item is not handed out inside Jailbreak. Go back to the event hub, interact with the cube, and travel to the 2017 platform that represents Jailbreak to claim it there.
The badge itself is a one-time award per account, so replaying the rescue chain adds nothing. Once the wing is sitting in your garage and the bandana is in your avatar inventory, Jailbreak’s part of the anniversary event is finished — and the whole thing closes on September 28.
