Add to Google Preferences →Exoskeletons and their combat perks
The headline addition is a set of powered exoskeleton frames that operatives can wear over their standard combat gear. These rigs are built around survivability, giving squads defensive and recovery options during turn-based fights.
During combat, exoskeleton-equipped operatives surface status effects such as Extreme Vitality, Armor Recovery, and Autoreanimator, alongside familiar buffs like +1 AP and +1 Health. Autoreanimator ties into the revive flow, so a downed operative can return to the fight when the frame’s conditions are met.

Expanded Locker Room customization
Cosmetic depth grows in the Locker Room, where you set the look of each operative without changing their base tactical model. The exoskeleton frames themselves can be tinted and fitted, so full-body rigs share the same styling tools as regular loadouts.
- Armor color palettes and camouflage patterns
- Armor attachments fitted to gear
- Rank insignias and patch placement
- International country flag patches
Gameplay, progression, and balance changes
Beyond cosmetics, the patch reworks parts of the tactical layer and the strategic base. Barracks class progression trees display perks tied to specific operatives, such as the Machine Gunner passive Hunk, which grants +1 HP to the machine gunner. Class-defining abilities remain in play too, including the cone-area machine-gun attack Massive Fire (Burst) that damages every enemy in the affected zone.

Targeting stays transparent about the odds. The game shows side-by-side hit comparisons, such as 64 percent versus 100 percent, along with line-of-sight angles so you can judge whether repositioning is worth the turn. Cover, elevation, and flank angle continue to drive those numbers.

Environmental combat also features in the update, with destructible cover and hazards like fuel explosions that can reshape a fight. The patch pairs these moments with economy and balance improvements plus interface refinements aimed at clarity.

Four new languages
The settings menu gains four additional localizations, covering both the interface and subtitles. English remains the only option with full audio.
| Language | Coverage |
|---|---|
| Korean | Interface and subtitles |
| Japanese | Interface and subtitles |
| Portuguese – Brazil | Interface and subtitles |
| Turkish | Interface and subtitles |
Where to get the update
PC users can now get the update via Steam, GOG.com, or the Epic Games Store. Each owner’s standard client supplies the patch at no extra cost. Everplay DMCC developed Warhounds, and Brightika, Inc. published it; its launch date was August 11, 2026.
You can confirm the update applied by checking the settings menu for the four new languages and the Locker Room for armor attachments, country flag patches, and exoskeleton options. Their presence signals the patch is installed and ready to use.
