The ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy comes with Paradise Garage in Watson Bay, which has a weapon locker and a spot to fence stolen goods. The Shitzu Squalo is moored at Washington Beach with a crate of explosives aboard. Electric Fang Tattoo offers over 50 designs by the artist collective FAILE. The Compound raid and Classic Car Collection are playable activities, not cosmetic items; both are available only with the Ultimate Edition.
Physical box, digital upgrade, and format rules
The Ultimate Edition is digital only. There is no physical Ultimate box. The only boxed game release is the Standard Edition, and even that contains a download code rather than a disc. Once a code is redeemed, the copy stays tied to that platform account.
After redeeming the game, Standard Edition owners can purchase the Ultimate Upgrade separately, whether their copy is digital or physical. Rockstar has not confirmed a fixed price for the upgrade, so look up its current cost in your platform’s store. A digital pre-order also comes with a month of GTA+ at no charge. The Collector’s Edition has no game included, so this bonus isn’t part of it.
Pre-loading for digital copies opens at 12 a.m. local time on November 12, 2026; physical boxes are sent out that same day.
PlayStation download codes work only with an account set to the code’s region, while Xbox codes have no region restriction. This is especially important when bringing in a less expensive physical copy from another region.
