Control Resonant: How to Solve The Park Atlantis Cash Register Puzzle (BDAC)

Tucked into the southeast corner of The Park, the Atlantis restaurant hides a locked cash register that guards a basement storage room. The register only opens once you feed it a four-letter code, and that code is spelled out by the drink orders left on the regulars’ tables.

Quick answer: Enter BDAC on the Atlantis register. Match each reserved table’s drink order with the coffee menu, then use the results for Table 1, Table 5, Table 4, and Table 2, in that order.

Where to find the Atlantis restaurant in The Park

The restaurant sits near the Research Site in the southeast portion of The Park. Open your map and look for the Secret marker close to that landmark, then head to the street and walk in through the front doors. Mold enemies patrol the road outside, so it’s worth clearing them before you settle in to work through the puzzle.

How the BDAC code works

Two clues sit behind the counter. The coffee menu assigns a letter to each drink, and a handwritten reservation note lists the four tables the regulars use each week, in a set order. You visit those tables, read what each regular ordered, then translate the drink into its menu letter.

The coffee menu pairs the drinks with letters like this: A is Espresso, B is Iced Coffee, C is Caramel Latte, and D is The Spiciest Chai.

The reservation note gives the reading order: Table 1, then Table 5, then Table 4, then Table 2. Matching each table’s drink card to its menu letter in that sequence produces the register code.

Table 3 also has a card, but it is not on the reservation list, so ignore it. Only Tables 1, 5, 4, and 2 feed into the code.

Solve the puzzle and grab the Health Upgrade Point

Walk behind the counter and read both files sitting on it. One shows the coffee menu with its letters, and the other lists the weekly table reservations.

Move to each reserved table and inspect its drink card. Note the drink, then match it to the menu letter so you build the sequence B, D, A, C.

Use the cash register at the main counter and enter BDAC, keeping the letters in that order.

The code opens the door at the back of the counter. Go through it, descend the hallway stairs into the basement storage area, and open the chest to get Health Upgrade Point 1/3.

You’ll know the code worked the moment the previously sealed door behind the counter slides open. Collect three Health Upgrade Points across the game to raise Dylan’s maximum health, which makes later Resonant fights far more forgiving.

Don’t confuse it with the Downtown Atlantis Cafe

There is a second Atlantis location in the Downtown zone, and its puzzle works completely differently. Instead of a register code, you switch on appliances in size order. It sits northwest of the Oldest House, about a street over, and an electronic road sign out front makes it easy to spot. Reaching it requires Shift to get past a raised section of road.

First, pick up the note on the counter. It explains Becky’s morning routine: switch on all the appliances, starting with the smallest and ending with the largest. The appliances won’t respond until you flip the electrical breaker box positioned to the counter’s left.

Switch on the radio resting on the shelf across from the counter.

Move behind the counter and activate the small coffee machine positioned in front of the refrigerator.

Keep the sequence going: switch on the white coffee brewer left of the refrigerator, then the soda machine next to it, followed by the microwave, and finish with the refrigerator.

Powering the six appliances in the order radio, coffee machine, coffee brewer, soda machine, microwave, refrigerator opens a hidden door leading downstairs. The basement holds another Health Upgrade Point along with lore documents, so it’s worth the detour on your way through Downtown.
