A Missing Hand is an early Horde quest in Durotar that asks for one simple thing: find the NPC Heglan Shadeeye. There is no item to collect and no boss to defeat for the turn-in itself. The only real obstacle is the pack of Clattering Scorpids guarding the ruined hut where Heglan waits.
Quick answer: Travel east from Razor Hill to the ruined hut north of Dreadmist Peak, speak to Heglan Shadeeye, then click Complete Quest.
A Missing Hand quest details
The quest is completed entirely inside Durotar. The objective tracker reads “Find Heglan Shadeeye north of Dreadmist Peak,” and the turn-in NPC is the same character you speak to at the hut.

Heglan Shadeeye is in a battered hut on a red-dirt clearing, beyond Razor Hill to the east and on the northern side of Dreadmist Peak. When you get close, a yellow question mark appears on both the map and minimap. Several Clattering Scorpids roam near the hut entrance, so you’ll face a brief fight as you approach.

How to complete A Missing Hand

How to confirm the quest is complete
After you click Complete Quest, the chat log confirms “A Missing Hand completed” along with “Experience gained: 90” and the two reputation increases. The quest also disappears from your objective tracker. At that point, Heglan Shadeeye offers the follow-up quest, Threat from Below.

What comes next: Threat from Below
Threat from Below continues the same storyline and tasks you with recovering Jason’s Sword, which was lost in a cave in the crags north of Dreadmist Peak. The objective shows as 0/1 Jason’s Sword, and you bring the sword back to Heglan Shadeeye at the same hut once you have it. Accepting this quest right after the turn-in keeps you moving through the area without backtracking.
