Panopticon Service Request is an early side quest in Control Resonant that hides a three-part puzzle behind a simple containment job. Langston needs Dylan to trap an Altered Radio, but the security terminal is broken, the cell labels are wrong, and the radio has to be playing the right broadcast before it can be locked away.

Quick answer: Repair the terminal with two power modules and the dish, give Langston cell ID D-04, tune the radio to the New York World’s Fair broadcast, then place it in cell E-05.

Where to start Panopticon Service Request

This quest becomes available once you reach the FBC Field Office in Central 4. Langston is at the Field Panopticon booth in the office’s southeast corner; look for the Important Person icon marking him on the map. Speak to him and finish the dialogue to take the assignment.

Accepting the assignment sends you into a linear run through the containment bay. You can exit through the death screen or the System menu, but either option resets the run and returns you to the open world.

Repair the security terminal

Head into the containment chamber and find the security terminal in the small room on the left. It won’t boot because three components are missing: two power modules and a satellite dish.

Interact with the terminal to confirm it needs power. The screen shows a red battery icon indicating the modules are missing.
Grab the first power module sitting close to the terminal and slot it into the server rack beside the console.
Find the second power module near containment cell A-01 and insert it into the remaining slot in the rack.
Pick up the satellite dish lying near cell C-03. Climb on top of a containment cell and mount the dish on the metal antenna tower, watching for the blinking red indicator that turns green once it is seated.
Return to the console and select START SYSTEM. The terminal comes online and Langston asks you to check cell B-02.

Give Langston the correct cell ID (D-04)

Remote access will not open Cell B-02, since its displayed ID is misleading. Check the “Note for Langston” attached to the crate next to cell A-01. The note explains that the cells were reprogrammed clockwise to match FBC standard, while the ID plates stayed as they were, so the labels you see appear in reverse.

Read the cell sequence from the opposite end to find its true designation. In reverse, E matches A, D matches B, 5 matches 1, and 4 matches 2. Apply that mapping to the cell containing the radio, and its designation is D-04.

Talk to Langston over the intercom and choose these dialogue lines in order:

  • The category is ‘D’
  • The number is ’04’

Giving him D-04 opens the correct cell so Dylan can take the Altered Radio.

Tune the radio to the World’s Fair broadcast

Before the radio can be contained, it has to be playing the New York World’s Fair talk show. It won’t move quietly, so this last step is about timing rather than carrying.

Pick up the radio, then set it down and move away. Each time you drop it, the broadcast shifts to a different segment and the radio reappears elsewhere in the room.
Wait for the announcer to identify the date as Sunday, October 17th, and report that the New York World’s Fair ends that night. Keep dropping the radio and checking again until you hear the announcement.
While that broadcast is playing, pick the radio up and carry it into cell E-05, then place it on the pedestal to contain it.

Turn on subtitles from the game menu. The dialogue cue is easy to miss by ear, and subtitles make it obvious when the World’s Fair segment is playing.

Rewards and how to equip the Aramid Work Clothes

Placing the radio in E-05 with the right broadcast completes the quest. The screen flashes Quest Completed and Langston opens the exit gate once the lockdown check clears.

The Untapped Feeding Bottle is an artifact component. Take it to the Gap to create the finished artifact before slotting it into a build that benefits from faster Power recovery under negative status effects.

The outfit isn’t equipped automatically. Visit any FBC wardrobe locker in a friendly area, such as the one inside the Field Command building across the plaza, and set the Aramid Work Clothes as your Top Layer. After changing, jog back to the Field Panopticon booth for a final line of dialogue with Langston to wrap things up.
