Flying Aniimo carry you across the skies of Idyll and let you solve vertical puzzles that ground creatures cannot reach. What separates a good flyer from a great one is its Fly level, and only one Aniimo currently sits at the top of that scale without needing a rare alternate form.
Quick answer: Infergon is the best flying Aniimo. It is the only creature with Fly Lv. 3 outside the Prismana and Legendary options, and Fly Lv. 3 is the only tier that unlocks high-speed sprint flight with the Shift key.

How Fly levels change movement
Every flying Aniimo carries a Fly rating shown as a numeric badge on its portrait, from Level 1 to Level 3. The number decides how fast and how efficiently it moves through the air, and it works separately from the Aniimo’s combat stats.
- Fly Lv. 1: Basic flight at a fixed speed with standard stamina drain. No sprinting.
- Fly Lv. 2: Mid-tier flight, still locked to a fixed speed with no sprint option.
- Fly Lv. 3: Maximum efficiency. Holding Shift triggers high-speed sprint flight that Level 1 and Level 2 flyers cannot use.
A creature’s Fly level is fixed to the species and form. It does not scale with combat level, Combat Power, or rarity, so the fastest way to fly across the map is simply to own a Level 3 flyer.

Best flying Aniimo: Infergon and the Fly Lv. 3 flyers
Infergon is the standout pick because it is the only standard-form Aniimo that reaches Fly Lv. 3. That gives it sprint flight through the Shift key, letting you cover long distances far faster than any Level 1 or Level 2 flyer. Everything else at Level 3 is either a Prismana form or a Legendary Aniimo.

| Aniimo | Element | Fly level |
|---|---|---|
| Fire | Fly Lv. 3 | |
| Grass | Fly Lv. 3 | |
| Prismana Infergon | Fire / Wind | Fly Lv. 3 |
| Prismana Fulmintis | Lightning / Light | Fly Lv. 3 |
If you cannot reach Infergon yet, its dragon relative Helgon is a strong mid-game flyer at Fly Lv. 2, alongside the Mountain Helgon form. Both come from the Jawling line and are practical stand-ins while you build toward a Level 3 flyer.

Early-game flyers: Celestis and Eklue
Celestis is a great first flyer because it handles two movement types at once, carrying both Fly Lv. 1 and Climb Lv. 1. That flexibility covers most early traversal before you have a specialized team.

If you specifically want more air speed early, Eklue is the better catch. It comes with Fly Lv. 2 and appears early, just outside the Soaring Glide Sanctum in the Forest of Falling Stars, so you can pick one up without much detour.

How to assign a flying Aniimo
Flying is set through the exploration side of your roster, which is separate from your combat team. You can swap flyers freely, so keep your fastest one in the Fly slot for open-world travel.

Once a Fly Lv. 3 flyer such as Infergon is deployed, hold Shift while airborne to confirm sprint flight is active. If nothing speeds up, the equipped Aniimo is only Fly Lv. 1 or Lv. 2.
Exploration traits cannot be upgraded
There is currently no system to raise an Aniimo’s Fly level. A creature like Cozite stays at Fly Lv. 1 no matter how much you level it, and a favorite low-tier flyer will not become faster over time. If you want sprint flight, you have to catch and deploy an Aniimo that already has Fly Lv. 3.
