Super Rebirth is the prestige reset in Star Wars Droid Tycoon. It wipes your base, credits, and active droids, then pays out Nova Crystals along with permanent credit and XP boosts that never reset. The number of crystals you get scales directly with your Rebirth level when you reset, so the whole decision comes down to one question: how far do you push before you cash out?

Quick answer: The first few times, Super Rebirth around Rebirth 14–15 to start your multiplier snowball fast. Once you can clear the early ranks in minutes, push deeper toward Rebirth 35, the highest level with a payout, for the largest reward per run.

Super Rebirth requirements

Two conditions must be met before the option appears. You need to reach Rebirth 12, and you must have crafted at least one Rainbow Legendary droid that is active at your base. Registering the droid in the Droidex alone does not count; it has to be present, though it can sit in the rest area. When you hit Rank 12, a green recycle icon shows up in the bottom-left of the HUD.

Each Rebirth level also asks for a set amount of credits plus three specific active droids. Higher-quality versions satisfy a lower requirement, so a Diamond droid works where a Gold one is listed. Credits reset with every rebirth, but the droids carry you forward.

What Super Rebirth keeps and what it wipes

A normal Rebirth just zeroes your credits and ranks you up. A Super Rebirth goes much further and drops your base back to Level 1. Knowing exactly what survives makes the reset far less painful.

Iconic droid unlocks stay on your account, but they are not usable straight after a reset. You repurchase each one from the Loadlifter in the Super Rebirth area for 1 million credits.

What each Rebirth level pays

The crystal reward is 11 at Rebirth 12 and reaches 379 at Rebirth 35. Both permanent multipliers also increase with each rank. Nothing special unlocks at the top; the reward rises by a fixed amount at every rank, so resetting later yields more crystals in a run. The key is whether that extra reward is worthwhile for the time spent.

Ordinary rebirths now pay crystals too

Starting with the 19 → 20 step, each standard rebirth on the climb also awards Nova Crystals. The amount begins at 5 and reaches 300 on the 34 → 35 step. In total, the climb grants 1,475 crystals before the Super Rebirth reward is applied, making deep runs more lucrative than the payout column by itself indicates.

The full droid requirements shift every time you enter a new cycle, and there are five paths before they loop back. It pays to keep an updated chart handy so you always know which droids the current path wants.

Bigger runs versus faster runs

The Rebirth 35 reward is more than ten times the Rebirth 12 reward. However, getting there requires completing every requirement along the way and may take many times longer than reaching 12. Compare crystals earned per hour, not just the total shown on the reward screen. Early on, a few quick runs to Rebirth 12 can yield more than one lengthy push into the mid-20s, when the later rebirths remain out of reach.

As income and multipliers improve, the first rebirths take only minutes, and higher reset points can become better per hour as well. Iconic droid boosts, protocol droids, and extra droid stations on the base’s battle side have made credits much easier to build up, so established players can realistically aim for the top rank.

The best target moves up as your permanent boosts stack. Use these ranges as a starting point, then adjust once you feel your progress start to crawl.

Where you areCash out around

Cycles 1–3Rebirth 15–17
Cycles 4–6Rebirth 18–19
Cycles 7 and beyondRebirth 21–24

There is no single cutoff for everyone. If advancing two or three more rebirth levels adds little time and noticeably raises the crystal reward, continue climbing. Players several cycles in may move through the top ranks quickly enough that holding off until Rebirth 35 is most efficient: a single run collects the standard-rebirth crystals along with the largest payout.

When to hold off on Super Rebirth

Resetting the moment you technically can is not always right. Wait a little longer if any of these apply.

  • Credits are still flowing easily toward your next milestone. Ride it out and reset when the reward is higher.
  • You have upgrade chips left. They vanish on reset, so spend them filling out your Droidex for its credit boost first.
  • An event is coming up, and you need strong credit income to make the most of it. Reset once the event has finished.
  • You are one droid away from the next rank. A little patience beats restarting the early grind for fewer rewards.

Put a Cone of Coruscant hat on any droid you still need for the current path. It stops that droid from being sold by accident when your lounge fills up, which can otherwise block your progress.

How to perform the Super Rebirth and confirm it worked

Reach Rebirth 12 or higher and keep an active Rainbow Legendary droid at your base. The green recycle icon in the bottom-left corner confirms the feature is unlocked.
Head behind the cantina to the Nova Shop area, then stand on the glowing Super Rebirth platform. Ric-1200 is positioned underneath the Reclaim Icon Coins and Nova Shop signs.
Speak with Ric-1200 to bring up the Super Rebirth menu, then approve the reset. Your base returns to Level 1, and the Nova Crystals for your rank are credited to your balance. Use them at the Nova Shop to buy upgrades that remain through every future reset.

You know it worked when the gain screen shows your crystal award and new permanent multipliers, your base is empty, and your credit balance reads zero. On the next run, prioritise Nova Shop upgrades like Scrap Value, Pickaxe Mastery, and the Upgrade Chip Station, which each shorten the time it takes to reach your target rank on the following climb.
