Week two of the 2026 Lore Event is live in Creatures of Sonaria, and it lands alongside a fresh creature, a redesign, and a wide sweep of fixes across menus, movement, and the world itself. The headline addition is Rini, a new creature you unlock through the Lore Event mission. Sonar Studios laid out the full run of changes in the patch notes it posted on Discord, and the update also folds in a returning Sleep status and two hidden sneak peeks of Halloween creatures scattered around the map.

New creatures, cosmetics, and abilities
The additions center on the second week of the Lore Event. Rini is unlocked by completing the Lore Event mission, and a limited-time Rini Pack bundle is available alongside it. Astrothi gets a redesign, and the Urzuk trade stall returns in the Trade Realm.

Add to Google Preferences →Quality of life changes to the creature-select UI
The update streamlines creature browsing and selection, overhauls the Drowsy ailment, and lets you store nested palettes in color-save slots. You can apply them again when you own the required palettes, just as with Import/Exporter.
- Quick-access trial slot button added to the creature-select UI
- Passive abilities now appear alphabetically in the creature-selection UI
- New “Obtainable” filter in creature selection
- Clearer visuals showing which advanced stats are boosted
- The terrain-type display now identifies creatures sorted as “All-Terrain” or “Skyquatic” accordingly
- Favorited species now sparkle slightly for easier spotting
- Obtainment redirect links now jump straight to the obtainment button for a specific species
- The “new” exclamation icon is now a “NEW” banner, with purple banners for new subspecies
- “No Results” text appears when filters return no creatures

Creature model and visual fixes
Two model issues are fixed: Urzuk’s glowtail no longer has an unintended cutoff, and jaw or mouth beam parts stay hidden on headless mutations.
UI, stats, and menu fixes
- Auctioned slots now show equipped palettes when the slot is inspected
- In the aquatic realm, create a new all-terrain slot, press play, then inspect it; the model no longer glitches.
- Boosts such as stamina and speed now correctly show increased stats in the regular and advanced menus
- Switching from Arc Dragon to another species or slot now clears the Tangled Reckoning indicator from the player’s screen.
- For certain species, switching between landmarks no longer triggers repeated, unnecessary flags.
- The Hunker bar no longer flickers when a flier lands

Movement and controls
Several movement exploits and stuck spots are patched. Spawning with a double-jump plushie equipped no longer lets you triple jump by sprinting and spam-jumping, and a strafe-and-shift combination no longer breaks the camera into backwards or sideways movement. A spot in the Fragmented Spire region and a pond in the Arid Wasteland no longer trap models or cause twitchy movement.
Gameplay and mechanics fixes
- NPCs no longer randomly turn invisible while still being sniffable and scared of nearby players
- Requesting an egg from the menu no longer lets you nest babies that never hatch
- Abandoned eggs no longer spawn floating in the “Aquarium” cave in the Tundra
- Pack members assigned the forager role stay above ground when depositing resources at nests or buildables.

World and weather fixes
The final group cleans up terrain and weather issues. Snow piles no longer have collision problems in sector 6C on the main realm, Ashfall weather is now properly confined to the correct regions, and a Tundra cave around sector C7 no longer stops held resources from being interacted with.
The event content is temporary. The week two items and cosmetics tied to the Lore Event will be gone once it ends, so Rini and the Rini Pack are only around for the current run. You can jump into the game through its official Roblox page to work through the mission while the event is live.
