Irisalis is one of the strongest Grass damage dealers in Aniimo, but she does not carry a fight on her own. Her clones do the heavy lifting, and she chews through energy faster than almost any other DPS. That combination means the units standing next to her matter just as much as her own kit.
Quick answer: Run Irisalis with Leafy, Turbo, and Somniwing. Leafy boosts Grass damage and restores energy, Turbo breaks shields, and Somniwing keeps Irisalis fed so her clones never stop firing.

Why Irisalis needs a specific team
Irisalis is a Nova-stage Grass DPS with a high base Attack of 130 and a Regen stat of 108, and her damage scales through her Bloom Cluster trait. She summons clones that repeatedly strike the target, and each hit builds Dance Power. Once it fills, her next skill costs far less energy and she heals nearby allies.
The core loop lives in two skills. Irisalis Shadow spawns a clone, and Whirling Blossom Rain makes every active clone fire Floral Gleam Beams at the target. Her Ultimate, Florae Descent, adds a second clone that coexists with the first. More clones on the field means more beams per cast, so the whole plan is to keep clones alive and keep casting.
The catch is cost. Whirling Blossom Rain drains 20 EP per cast and you want to press it constantly, so an Irisalis team lives or dies on energy support. Everything else is built to keep that engine running.

| Aniimo | Role | Skills to equip |
|---|---|---|
| DPS | Whirling Blossom Rain, Irisalis Shadow | |
| Regen | Vitality Blooms, Cyclone of Leaves | |
| Support | Cloud Shield, Nimbi Burst | |
| Regen | Hypnotic Spores, Ethereal Light Wave |
This four-unit core is the most stable setup because it covers Irisalis’s two biggest weaknesses at once, her energy hunger and her need to stay on the field. Each teammate has a clear job.

Leafy: Grass damage and energy
Leafy is the anchor of the team. Its Lotus Bloom heals the whole squad and grants a Grass Elemental Boost, and Vitality Blooms lays down a field that restores energy every second to Grass allies for 12 seconds while healing 1% HP. That constant trickle of energy and sustain lets Irisalis keep pressing skills without stalling.

Turbo: the breaker and shields
Turbo handles the jobs Irisalis cannot. Cloud Shield protects the team, and Nimbi Burst applies universal damage and Break buffs, which strip enemy shields so Irisalis can pour damage into an open target. Turbo is the only dedicated shield-breaker in the core, and losing it changes how you have to play the fight.

Somniwing: the energy battery
Somniwing is close to mandatory. Its Butterfly Dance and Ethereal Light Wave exist purely to refill energy, with the light wave restoring 5 Energy to Somniwing itself and speeding up ally energy recovery for 20 seconds. Hypnotic Spores can also put a target to Sleep, buying you a safe window to reset. Without this kind of regen, Irisalis runs dry mid-rotation.

Melloblum variation for more crit damage
If you want to push Irisalis’s damage ceiling higher, swap Turbo for Melloblum. Melloblum leans on high critical hit rates and extra healing, and its Thorny Blessing grants the whole team bonus damage whenever they land Grass Crit Damage, triggering thorns beneath the target for 15 seconds.

Because Irisalis already picks up strong critical strike chances from her signature held item and personality traits, Melloblum’s crit-focused buffs compound quickly. The trade-off is real, though: this version has no dedicated breaker, so you will struggle against heavily shielded enemies.
Only run the Melloblum build when you do not urgently need Break, since dropping Turbo means the team can no longer reliably strip shields.
Substitutes when you are missing a unit
- Gracewing replaces Somniwing if you do not have it. Its energy recovery is weaker, but its healing keeps the team alive.
- Tuckin adds a tanky Break body with high HP and sustain, absorbing damage so your other units operate safely.
Aniimo to keep off this team
Skip Inferlupa and Pomawk in an Irisalis comp. Their own energy demands are heavy, and pairing them with an already energy-starved carry leaves the whole squad unable to sustain the constant clone attacks that make Irisalis work. The team ends up fighting over the same energy pool and nobody gets enough.
How to play the team
Getting Irisalis online takes some investment first. Her exclusive held item, the Floral Rainbow Feather, boosts summoned clone damage by 30% and is the ideal fit, while Ferocious Fang is the best stand-in until you earn the feather. Prioritize Attack and Regen on her stats.

You know the team is working when your clones fire beams on every Whirling Blossom Rain cast and Dance Power keeps building, which cuts the cost of your next skill and heals nearby allies. If your clones vanish or Irisalis stops mid-rotation for lack of energy, you leaned on her too long without cycling back to Leafy or Somniwing.
