Carbon Copy is a three-part side quest chain in The Park that follows Dylan Faden as he tries to help Heidi find her missing twin sister, Hannah. What starts as a simple welfare check turns into a Mold mystery that ends with a boss fight inside a Park factory. Completing all three parts rewards the “Budding Mycologist” trophy.

Carbon Copy Part I: Find Heidi’s twin sister in The Park
Head into The Park and open the map to find Dylan’s marked location. Heidi is waiting inside a Mold-infested building at that spot.
Drop down into the building and speak with Heidi. She asks you to check on her twin sister, Hannah, and hands over Heidi’s Old Apartment Key. The apartment sits south of her hiding spot.
Travel south across the rooftop Mold formations to reach the apartment building. Inside, pick up the “Letter To Hannah” from the living room table, then enter the bedroom to find Hannah sitting in a chair.
Open the map and return to Heidi’s hiding spot. Tell her Hannah is safe to complete Carbon Copy Part I and receive the Untapped Mother’s Locket.
Carbon Copy Part II: Search for clues to find Heidi
Find Dr. Florez outside the Field Hospital in Central and talk to him. He says Heidi insisted Hannah wasn’t truly her sister, then went missing.
Gather the clues around the hospital. Grab the “Notes On Pattern Victims” outside, then enter the ER Medical Unit to collect the “Medical Report: Hannah Garrett” and question the incoherent Hannah in the bed. On an empty cot nearby, read the “Note From Heidi”.
Open the map; it marks the apartment in The Park belonging to Heidi and Hannah. Fast travel to The Park using its FBC Base, then cross the rooftops to the apartment.
Inside the apartment, go into the bathroom and find Heidi’s body on the floor. Interact with her to report the discovery to Zoe and complete Carbon Copy Part II.
Carbon Copy Part III: Follow the trail and defeat Mold Hannah
Leave the apartment building and step onto the rooftops. Multiple identical copies of Hannah stand motionless across the area. Contact Zoe over the radio, then start following them.
Trace the line of Hannah copies across the rooftops, down to street level, and into an alleyway. The trail leads to a locked factory gate, where you find the real Heidi. She explains she trapped Hannah inside because she was “changing” and gives you the Park Factory Key.
Unlock the factory gate and enter the warehouse. Inside waits Mold Hannah, a giant mutated creature. Survive its attacks and defeat it. The boss dissolves into spores once beaten.
Exit the factory and speak with Heidi by the truck to finish the conversation. This completes Carbon Copy Part III.
How to confirm the quest is complete
After the final talk with Heidi, the “Budding Mycologist” trophy pops with a “Trophy earned!” notification, and you receive the Untapped Medical Alert Bands. The Carbon Copy chain then closes on the map in The Park, confirming all three parts are done.
