Update 2.5 is the largest balance pass Dungeon Lootr has shipped, and it touches almost every part of the Roblox dungeon crawler. The headline changes are a full class rebalance that reverses earlier nerfs, a higher player level cap, a stronger Perfect Reforge Stone, faster Payload runs, and a new limited-time Boss Rush event called Eclipse March that hands out a fresh class and gear.
Quick answer: Update 2.5 raises the level cap to 225, re-buffs every previously nerfed class, lifts the Perfect Reforge Stone chance to 70%, doubles Payload ship speed, and adds the Level 200 Eclipse March Boss Rush with the Dragon Slayer class.
The rollout is listed for September 26 between 20:00 and 22:00 UTC on the official Dungeon Lootr experience, with a server restart pulling players into the updated build. The game briefly carries a slayer tag on the join screen during the transition.
Level cap raised to 225 and a global EXP boost
Update 2.5 adds 25 new player levels, moving the ceiling from 200 to 225. To help players climb the new range, the patch applies a global Player EXP multiplier of x1.25. That higher cap also matters for the new event, since Eclipse March gates entry behind Level 200.
Class rebalance reverses the earlier nerfs
The core of Update 2.5 is a sweeping set of class buffs. Classes that were weakened in earlier patches receive base damage increases, faster animations, shorter cooldowns, and in some cases a rarity change. The goal is to make the full roster viable again rather than funnel players into a narrow meta.
| Class | Base damage | Other change |
|---|---|---|
| Awakened Devil EX | +85% | Attack speed +80%, M1 x1.6 |
| Demonbane | +65% | Celestial → Exotic |
| Jetstream | +60% | All cooldowns set to 10s |
| Founder | +60% | Skill cooldown +20% |
| Unrestricted | +60% | Celestial → Exotic |
| Cursed King | +50% | Larger Fuuga and Ultimate hitboxes |
| Honored One | +50% | Faster M1 and animations |
| Spellbreaker | +50% | Skill 4 animation x1.3 |
| Coyote | +28% | Skill 1 Dodge changed to Parry |
Toji is one of the classes brought back into line, with quicker combos and heavy critical hits shown in the training area. Its rebuilt combo string chains cleanly and stacks up a long hit counter against the dummy.

Great Mage (Frieren) is another standout after the patch, hitting for roughly 1.54M up to over 2.15M on critical strikes against a training dummy. Inverted Spirit is reclassified to the Exotic tier alongside its buffs, and Necromancer gets a rework that increases its skeleton spawn count from 5 to 9 with improved player mobility and healing.
Other classes named in the balance sheet include Kokushibo, Shadow Vagrant, Anti-Magic, Cryomancer, Dark Professor, Hellfiend, Fae, and Embertide, each with multiplier, cooldown, or animation adjustments.
Perfect Reforge Stone chance increased to 70%
Reforging gear is more reliable after Update 2.5. Purchased chests now yield a higher share of the best stones at the Forge. The Perfect Reforge Stone roll climbs from 50% to 70%, while the remaining rolls split into 25% fine stones and 5% celestial reforge stones.

Eclipse March Boss Rush and the Dragon Slayer class
Eclipse March is the new Boss Rush event and the biggest piece of fresh content in the patch. It requires Level 200 to enter and runs as a 25-floor gauntlet of back-to-back boss fights. Floor 15 features the White Hawk boss, and the run ends on Floor 25 against the Dragon Slayer.
Bosses seen across the floors include Knight Champion, Dark Revenant, Frost Warden, Tenebris, White Hawk, Cursed King, and Anti Mage. A full 1–25 clear yields 17 Reforge Stones and 1–2 guaranteed Aspect Gems, on top of a possible gear drop.
Possible Boss Rush rewards are:
- Iron Prosthetic Gauntlet (with a high-tier Exotic variant)
- Falcon Cavalry Greaves
- Celestial Ingot
- Fine Ingot
- Gold Ingot
The permanent Dragon Slayer class is the event’s marquee unlock. It comes from the Dragon Slayer quest offered by the Eclipse March NPC next to the Boss Rush portal. Defeating the Dragon Slayer on Floor 25 progresses the quest, and each eligible Floor 25 clear grants 2–4 Dragon Slayer Fragments, with 75 fragments needed to claim the class. Every eligible victory also carries a 1.0% chance to drop the class directly.
The event is temporary, so it disappears once its timer runs out.
Payload ship travel speed doubled
Payload mode gets a quality-of-life fix in Update 2.5. The flying ship that escorts the objective now travels at 2x its previous speed, cutting the downtime between fights on tracks like Torus – Floating Aisles. Payload runs still support 1–4 players at Level 40 and above, with four checkpoints leading to a final boss.
Taken together, the patch is aimed squarely at players who felt boxed in by earlier nerfs and slow travel. The class rebalance widens viable builds, the reforge change makes gear upgrades less punishing, and Eclipse March gives high-level players a reason to grind toward the Dragon Slayer class before its window closes.
