World of Warcraft: Horde Two-Handed Axes Trainer Location

Two-Handed Axes is a weapon skill you learn from a Weapon Master rather than a class trainer. For the Horde, both Weapon Masters who teach it stand together inside a single building in Orgrimmar, so one short trip covers the whole task.

Quick answer: Speak to Hanashi or Sayoc in the barracks at the back of the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar (81.5, 19.6). You must be at least Level 10, and training costs 10 silver.

Requirements before you train Two-Handed Axes

Character level 10 or higher.
10 silver in your bags for the training fee.
A class that can equip two-handed axes, such as Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, or Shaman.

Shaman can only wield two-handed axes after spending a point in the Enhancement talent tree.

How to reach the Orgrimmar Weapon Masters

Travel to Orgrimmar, the Horde capital on the continent of Kalimdor in Durotar. Any flight path, portal, or overland route into the city works.

Head to the Valley of Honor, the district in the northeastern part of Orgrimmar. Open your map if you need to orient yourself toward the corner marked here.

Inside the Valley of Honor, run to the large wooden barracks building at the back of the district. This is where the weapon training hall is located, alongside nearby weapon vendors.

Enter the hall and talk to either Weapon Master Hanashi or Weapon Master Sayoc. Choose the dialogue option “I want some weapon training.”

Select Two-Handed Axes from the list and pay the 10 silver fee. The skill is learned instantly.

Hanashi and Sayoc skills compared

Both Weapon Masters teach Two-Handed Axes, so it does not matter which one you use for that skill. They differ on the other skills they offer, which is useful if you plan to train more than one weapon in the same visit.

Confirming the skill was learned

After paying, 10 silver is removed from your bags and the training window closes. Open your character sheet and check the weapon skills list, where Two-Handed Axes now appears with a starting value. From that point you can equip a two-handed axe, and the skill rises as you land melee attacks. Higher weapon skill lowers your chance to miss, so leveling it up toward the cap of your character level multiplied by five keeps your hits consistent.
