The headline addition to Jujutsu Zero is Awakened Projection, a new Disaster Grade Cursed Technique built around fast movement and afterimage attacks. The update also brings the Zen’in Elite clan and its raid, two Special Grade accessories, a 25 trillion HP Faction Raid, a reworked progression menu, and two redeemable codes.

Awakened Projection: the new Cursed Technique
Awakened Projection is obtained from a dedicated summon banner. The base kit ships with four skills: Frame Chain, Split Frame, Perpetual Motion, and Mach Break. While focused, the technique grants movement buffs, and using a Super Dash spawns afterimages that trail your character.
The banner supports bulk pulls, so you can spend Cursed Crystals in a single Summon x100 to speed up the roll for the technique. Once it is in your inventory, extra copies feed into technique sub-upgrades that run from E1 to E6, each raising move damage and trimming cooldowns.
The release currently contains the basic kit. A future update is planned to add upgraded skills, an ultimate ability, a stronger passive, and a domain expansion.
Awakening tree and node costs
The Awakened Projection Tree NPC is where you unlock and upgrade the technique’s skills. Mastery level must be farmed before most nodes open, so grinding NPCs for mastery XP comes first. The tree is tracked on the world map for quick travel.
Each node costs a mix of mastery (MAS) and Yen, and higher nodes also require Projection Awakening Shards and Still Frames from the Zen’in Elite Raid.

Frame Freeze and Frame Snap mechanic
Combat fills the meter added by the Bar Mechanic Unlock node. Once it reaches capacity, nearby enemies are held in a frame for 10 seconds. Attacks continue to hit the trapped target, and the damage dealt is stored during the freeze.
Land 10 hits before the timer runs out and you trigger Frame Snap, an extra hit that pays out the stored damage with a 75% bonus. The mechanic rewards staying aggressive on a single frozen enemy long enough to reach the 10-hit threshold.
Boosted and Elite skins
The technique has two cosmetics with stat bonuses. The Boosted skin can be bought directly with Cursed Dusts; obtaining the Elite skin requires a token from Crate Rains, which you redeem at the Token Exchanger.

Zen’in Elite clan and raid
The Zen’in Elite clan complements Awakened Projection by strengthening Projection-related skills. It can drop as a rare reward in the Zen’in Elite Raid or be obtained from a shop bundle.

The Zen’in Elite (Naoya) Raid is the main farming source for the technique. It runs across three difficulty tiers from Lv. 7,000 up to Lv. 11,000, and the boss itself uses Awakened Projection abilities. Each clear hands out between three and seven Inheritance Crates depending on difficulty, plus Lumens, Yen, and up to 2.85 million player XP. Drops include Motion Cog, Still Frames, Projection Awakening Shards, and the clan itself.
Frame Counter and Killing Intent accessories
Two new Special Grade accessories arrive with the update. Frame Counter is the Projection-focused piece, crafted from Motion Cog dropped by the Zen’in Elite Raid. Killing Intent targets Physical Heavenly Restriction weapon builds and needs Broken Blade from the Tsuguru Raid. Frame Counter can be refined up to Refine Lv. 6, which raises its stats to +113 Raw Projection %, +225 Projection Sorcery %, +75 Crit DMG, and +75 ATK %.

The Absolute One Faction Raid
The Absolute One is a new Faction Raid built around a Lv. 7,500 boss with 25 trillion HP. Completing it awards 150 million player XP and +15% critical damage per clear, stacking up to five times for a total of +75%. The raid is tied to a fastest-clear leaderboard, so factions can compete on completion times.
Quality-of-life changes and Crate Rains
Crate Rains now pulls from an expanded loot pool with more progression materials and rare items, and it is one of the sources for the Elite skin token. Alongside that, the update reorganizes menus and cleans up the interface.

How Awakened Projection compares to Awakened Limitless
Awakened Projection is the newest awakening to follow Awakened Limitless, the Gojo-themed technique that introduced multiple progression trees and a teleport-style traversal system. Where Limitless leans on options like Hollow Nuke, 200% Output Hollow Purple, and split upgrade trees, Projection focuses on afterimage dashes and its Frame Freeze finisher.
Limitless also spreads its upgrades across trees such as Reversal, Lapse, and Limitless, giving players several specialization paths. Awakened Projection currently offers a single tree, which reflects that only its base kit is live so far.
