Dungeon Lootr Update 1.5 is live, and it reshapes both the class roster and the way you upgrade gear. The headline additions are five new classes, a Tournament mode, the new Appraisal and Dismantling systems, and a round of balance changes that pull the previously dominant Sinister Trigger back toward the pack. Here is exactly what changed and where to spend your first grinding hours.
Quick answer: In Update 1.5, Dragoon and Embertide arrive alongside Hellfiend; Hollow and Blade of Draconia round out the five. The update also adds Appraisal and Dismantling, increases the level cap, and weakens Sinister Trigger without pushing it out of S Tier.
New classes added in Update 1.5
The roster gains Dragoon and Embertide, then Hellfiend; Hollow and Blade of Draconia complete the five additions. Of the classes with confirmed placements, three rank near the top of the current list.
| Class | Rarity | Archetype | Tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dragoon | Exotic | Physical | S |
| Embertide | Exotic | Magic | A |
| Hellfiend | Exotic | Ranged | A |
Dragoon is the standout and lands in S Tier. You obtain it through Exotic Summoning. Its signature button, Eye of the Dragon, runs for 25 seconds and stacks +20% overall damage, +15% attack speed, 1.35x skill animation speed, 35% larger hitboxes, faster basic attacks, and healing from skill damage. Dragonfall adds an x14.0 total multiplier split across three independently recharging stages, so you keep weaving heavy hits instead of waiting on one long cooldown. Its +17 base Strength pairs well with the update’s Strength scaling, and Mastery grants another +8 Strength, +20% damage on all three damaging skills, and a 5% cooldown reduction.
Embertide (Exotic Magic) and Hellfiend (Exotic Ranged) both settle in A Tier as strong picks that trail the top damage kits. Hollow and Blade of Draconia round out the new roster.
Sinister Trigger nerf
Sinister Trigger, the class that dominated the previous meta, took the largest hit this patch. It remains an S Tier skill-spam class, but the excess has been trimmed:
- Mastery Passive damage cut from 190% to 120%.
- The passive now procs only on skill hits.
- Bonus multiplier lowered from 1.5x to 1.45x.
- Oversized hitboxes and the five-hit M1 chain toned down.
- DEX evasion reduced, with harsher multi-hit damage decay.
The core loop survives intact. Crossfire still gives three Dodge-protected charges and an x19.2 listed multiplier, while Showstopper and Rainstorm continue to reset one another for fast combos. The changes bring the class closer to its rivals rather than removing it from the top tier.
Appraisal and Dismantling systems
Update 1.5 adds two gear systems that live at the merchant. Appraisal lets you evaluate and push a piece of equipment toward a higher level, for example upgrading a Supernova Ring toward level 200. Dismantling breaks unwanted rings, amulets, and materials back down, which is the fastest way to clear an inventory clogged with duplicate drops. Both are worth learning early, since the endgame grind produces far more gear than you can equip.
Level cap, balance overhaul, and shop bundles
Alongside the new classes, the patch raises the level cap, applies a broad balance overhaul, and adds fresh shop bundles, plus a batch of bug fixes. The Strength scaling change in particular rewards heavy Physical classes, which is part of why Dragoon opens so strong.

What to grind first in Update 1.5
The fastest progress runs through the hub. Head into town, talk to the content NPCs, and queue directly into the modes that drop the materials Appraisal needs.

Magic Unleashed Event Raid
The Magic Unleashed Event Raid runs The First Test against Dark Professor, and it is the fastest repeatable content on Impossible difficulty. Practiced parties clear it in roughly one to three minutes per run. The event raid shop is also where you obtain Spell Breaker, so stacking runs pays off in both materials and a new S Tier class.
Boss blessings during runs
Clearing dungeon bosses such as the Shadow Knight lets you pick a blessing card that buffs the rest of the run. Choosing the right card each time is a large part of pushing higher waves in Challenge mode.

Defeating tougher bosses like the Awakened Devil opens a wider blessing menu with options such as Ironhide, Devastation, and Steadfast, letting you lean into either survivability or raw damage depending on how deep the run has gone.

Ore, coins, and gear drops
Boss fights and Payload runs across Floating Aisles reward ore, coins, and rings that feed straight into Appraisal. Higher-difficulty clears, including Underworld on Nightmare, are where the rarer materials appear, so prioritize the toughest content your build can survive.

How to confirm you are on Update 1.5
Enter Dungeon Lootr on Roblox and bring up the class selection screen. The live 1.5 build is active if Dragoon and Embertide appear in the roster, followed by Hellfiend, Hollow, and Blade of Draconia, and the merchant offers Appraisal and Dismantling. To progress quickly from there, run the Magic Unleashed Event Raid repeatedly and save ore and coins for Appraisal.
