Drill to Earth’s Core: How to Get Every Badge and Its Core Reward

Every badge across the Progression, General, Enemies, and Class categories, with the exact Cores each one pays.

Every badge across the Progression, General, Enemies, and Class categories, with the exact Cores each one pays.

Badges in Drill to Earth’s Core are Roblox achievements that pay Cores, the lobby currency you spend on classes. There are 122 in total, split into four groups: Progression, General, Enemies, and Class. Rewards range from 5 Cores for a first join up to 1,750 Cores for the hardest milestones.

Quick answer: Complete a badge’s task in a run, then claim it from the lobby Achievements button or a town Achievements board. The Cores are added to your lobby balance, and Class badges are the only ones that pay nothing.

How badges pay out and where to claim them

Each badge fires the moment its condition is met during play. Open the Achievements button in the lobby, or interact with an Achievements board inside a town, to see completed badges and collect the Cores. Cores stay on your account permanently, unlike Coins, which reset when a run ends.

None of these badges use a promo code. They only unlock through in-game actions.

Layer clear badges

Every named layer awards a badge when you break through its boss wall. The reward scales as you go deeper, and each boss wall also pays 10 Cores separately from the badge.

Depth milestone badges

Distance badges track how far your drill travels. Reaching the Core at 100,000 km means finishing the Glowing Core wall, and the deepest milestones sit far past it.

Social and death badges

The join, return, and friend badges give new accounts their first easy Cores. The death badges tick up over time whether you want them to or not. Group Member requires joining the official Roblox group, which you can do from the Game Name Roblox group page.

NPC conversation badges

Talking to each town or camp character once awards 5 Cores. There are nine of them, so speak to every NPC you pass on a normal run.

  • Blacksmith
  • Mage
  • Merchant
  • Postmaster
  • Local Lunatic (Crazy Zack)
  • Banker
  • Shopkeeper
  • Bounty Hunter
  • Gibbles

Event and challenge badges

This group mixes quick actions with meme runs. Well Played wants you to step in the well on the lobby island, Lightly Toasted wants you to light yourself on a campfire, and Mr. Quacks needs an evil duck pulled from a dungeon chest and sold. Meat to Heat and Armor Optional are coordinated challenge runs meant for a team that already has the normal Core badge.

Class unlock badges

Every class has a matching badge that unlocks when you buy the class at the Academy. These badges pay no Cores, but you can still claim them for completion. The class names double as the badge names.

  • Miner, Recruit, Healer, Mechanic, Racer, Scout
  • Witch, Bruiser, Driller, Gunslinger, Tank, Crafter
  • Demolitionist, Lucky Looter, Nightcrawler, Princess, Reaper, Salvager
  • Bounty Hunter, Executioner, Goblin King, Gunsmith, Pirate, Priest
  • Prospector, Samurai

Stack multiple badges in a single run

The fastest way to clear the list is to chase several badges at once instead of grinding them one by one. A normal descent already touches most requirements if you play deliberately.

  • Do the lobby jokes first: the well for Well Played and the campfire for Lightly Toasted before you queue.
  • Break each new ore as you pass it so the mining badges fire on the way down.
  • Take every layer boss wall to collect the layer badge and its 10 Cores together.
  • Buy drill upgrades as you go to tick off the upgrade tiers and Wall Damage badges.
  • Kill enemies along the route and talk to every NPC you find in towns and camps.
  • Clear the early dungeon so an evil duck can appear for Mr. Quacks.

You will know a badge landed when the completion notification pops in-game and the Cores appear on your lobby balance. Anything still missing will show as uncollected on the Achievements board, so check there after a deep run to sweep up everything you earned.
