Wharfmaster Dizzywig Quest Guide (WoW Classic)

Wharfmaster Dizzywig is a delivery quest in World of Warcraft: Classic that sends you to the goblin port of Ratchet in The Barrens. The whole task comes down to carrying a provided item across the zone and handing it to a goblin standing on the docks. There is no combat objective and nothing to collect along the way.

Quick answer: Travel east to Ratchet in The Barrens, walk out onto the main wooden pier, and speak with Wharfmaster Dizzywig at coordinates (63, 38) to hand in the provided item and complete the quest.

Both versions end with the same goblin at the Ratchet docks, but they start in different places and carry different items. Check which one is in your log so you pick up the correct delivery item before setting out.

The lower-level version is a Horde quest and also grants 50 reputation with Ratchet on completion. The level 36 version is neutral, open to both factions, and opens a longer errand chain that continues with Parts for Kravel back at the Mirage Raceway in Thousand Needles.

Route to Ratchet from The Crossroads

From The Crossroads in The Barrens, get onto the main road that runs east toward the coast. Follow it continuously without turning off, since the road leads straight to the port town.

Keep heading east across The Barrens. You will pass the traveling weapon dealer Lizzarik and his ogre bodyguard on the way, but there is nothing here you need for the quest, so keep moving toward the water.

Continue until you cross into Ratchet. Entering town triggers the “Discovered Ratchet: 105 experience gained” notification, which confirms you are in the right place.

Find Wharfmaster Dizzywig on the dock and turn in

Inside Ratchet, move east past the buildings toward the water’s edge. The main wooden pier extends out into the ocean from the eastern side of town.

Follow the pier; the goblin Wharfmaster Dizzywig is to your right beside a stack of wooden crates, at coordinates (63, 38).

Speak with Dizzywig, marked by a yellow question mark over his head, and hand over the provided delivery item to complete the quest.

Confirm the quest is complete

You know the delivery worked when the quest clears from your tracker and the experience reward lands. On the level 36 version, Dizzywig replies that the parts have been sitting out for days and he was afraid they would rust, which confirms the hand-off and opens Parts for Kravel next in the chain. The lower-level version simply grants its experience and Ratchet reputation once the crate changes hands.
