Deep Fishing Update 6: What’s New & Next Update Countdown

Deep Fishing runs on a rhythm of numbered updates, and Update 6 is the current one — the latest in a line of major drops that land about every week and a half. These updates are the game’s main event, giving the about 11,000 players casting lines at any given moment a reason to come back and keeping the game’s about 16,000,000 lifetime visits climbing.

A new update is a standing fixture rather than a one-off. Developer LazyGames. ships one every ~10 days, and each drop arrives on a Sunday. With 3 in the series so far, the pattern is clear, and the next update is expected Sunday, October 25 at 12 PM ET — our best estimate from the recent cadence until LazyGames. confirms the date.

How often updates land

A fresh update arrives every ~10 days, always in the same Sunday slot: 12:00 PM ET (noon, US Eastern). Because Deep Fishing draws players from every region, here is when that Sunday window falls around the world, so you can tell at a glance when new content goes live wherever you play.

Because the next date is an estimate drawn from the recent cadence, treat it as our best guess until LazyGames. posts the update. Miss the exact moment and nothing is lost — the content stays in the game, so the Sunday slot is simply when fresh material goes live rather than a one-time window.

What’s new in Update 6

Update 6 is the version live in Deep Fishing right now. Like the drops before it, it builds on the core loop of casting, reeling in rarer fish, and growing your collection. The game’s recent run of content has leaned on new worlds to fish, reworks to its fish and mechanics, and collectible extras such as pets and eggs, so a numbered update generally means fresh water to explore and new catches to chase rather than a cosmetic touch-up.

• New areas or worlds to fish in
• Reworks to fish, rarities, and how catches are earned
• Seasonal and collectible content, in the vein of the game’s recent pets and eggs

Tips for catching each update

• The Sunday noon ET drop lands in the early evening across Europe and in the evening in India, making it an easy window for a large share of players — pick the local time above that suits you and set a reminder.
• Updates often front-load limited or seasonal content, so logging in near the drop is the surest way to see everything while it’s new.
• If you miss it, the new content stays live, and another update follows about a week and a half later. There is always a next one.

How updates fit Deep Fishing’s rhythm

Numbered updates are not the only thing on Deep Fishing’s calendar. The game runs event-style content alongside them — Halloween World is live now — and has teased bigger systems, with a Trading feature flagged as coming next. Against one-off additions like the earlier Fish Update + Rework, the numbered updates are the dependable backbone: whatever else is running, the next one is never far off.
