Plane Crazy Summer Event: Schedule, Start Times & Next Countdown
Plane Crazy’s Summer Event drops a batch of free, summer-themed building blocks into the sandbox each year, handing the game’s engineers fresh parts to bolt onto their aircraft and contraptions at no cost. In a physics builder that has pulled in over half a billion visits and keeps around about 3,900 builders in its servers at any given moment, a seasonal block giveaway is exactly the kind of thing regulars plan their weekend around.
The Summer Event is a seasonal fixture rather than a one-off. It comes back each summer on a yearly rhythm, and while it is live the summer blocks are free for anyone to claim. The next date, the usual start times, and the countdown to the next run are all on the card below.

How often the Summer Event runs
The event runs on a yearly cadence — about every ~371 days — so it surfaces once per summer rather than on any weekly loop. It has returned 2 times so far. Our best estimate for the next appearance is Sunday, July 4, 2027 at 1:07 AM ET, projected from the timing of past summers; we confirm the exact date once the developer posts it.
When it goes live, the Summer Event opens across two Saturday time windows rather than a single moment. Staggering the windows this way means builders everywhere — not only those awake in North America — get a convenient shot at the blocks. Both windows are shown below in Eastern Time and across the major world time zones:
| Window | US (ET) | UK | Europe | India | Japan | Australia (AEST) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Morning slot | 5:50 AM | 10:50 AM | 11:50 AM | 3:20 PM | 6:50 PM | 7:50 PM |
| Afternoon slot | 3:30 PM | 8:30 PM | 9:30 PM | 1:00 AM* | 4:30 AM* | 5:30 AM* |
What happens in the Summer Event
The draw is straightforward: a set of summer-themed building blocks is made available to claim for free while the event is active. Once grabbed, the parts stay in your inventory to use in any build.
- Seasonal blocks added to your parts list at no cost during the run.
- New pieces to work into planes, vehicles, and other contraptions.
- A reason to log in during the window, since the giveaway is tied to the live event rather than always available.
Tips for catching it
Pick whichever of the two Saturday windows lands at a sensible hour for you — North American builders are best served by the afternoon slot, while the morning slot suits European and Asian time zones. Set a reminder for the window closest to your schedule rather than trying to be online all day. And if you miss it entirely, the event comes back around next summer, so there is no permanent loss — just a wait for the next cycle.
How it fits Plane Crazy’s seasonal calendar
The Summer Event is one stop on Plane Crazy’s wider seasonal cycle. The Autumn Event is the one currently running, and the game has cycled through a Winter Event and an April Fools event in the past, each timed to its season. Read together, they give builders a rough calendar: a themed block drop every few months, with the Summer Event holding down the mid-year slot.
