Ghost Driver New Update: Schedule, Start Times & Next Countdown
Ghost Driver keeps a steady rhythm of fresh content, and New Update is its heartbeat — the recurring drop that developer Tilted Vehicles rolls out for the racing game roughly once a week. With more than about 12,000 players behind the wheel right now, well over 100 million visits logged and favorites approaching a million, each cycle lands in front of a sizeable, active crowd.
Rather than arriving once and disappearing, New Update comes back on a regular cadence, and it opens across several set times instead of a single moment. That spread is deliberate: it gives drivers in different parts of the world a realistic shot at jumping in when the new content goes live. The next date and the usual times are on the card below.

How often New Update lands
New Update runs on a weekly rhythm — a fresh drop lands about every seven days, and it has gone live 4 times so far. Based on that pattern, the next one is expected around Saturday, October 24 at 12:06 PM ET; that date is our best estimate from the usual schedule, and we confirm it once Tilted Vehicles posts the exact time.
Each cycle opens across four recurring windows, all listed here in US Eastern Time:
- Saturdays, 2:30 PM ET
- Saturdays, 5:30 PM ET
- Saturdays, 8:30 PM ET
- Sundays, 7:00 PM ET
The multiple slots exist so players everywhere can catch the content at a workable hour. A mid-afternoon Eastern window, for example, falls in the late morning on the US West Coast, the evening across the UK and Europe, and the small hours in India, Japan and Australia — which is exactly why the weekend offers more than one chance.
What a new update brings
The specific contents shift from one New Update to the next, which is part of why it’s worth checking back each week. Broadly, these drops are where Ghost Driver’s newest content goes live — the additions, adjustments and fixes that keep the racing fresh for returning drivers. When a cycle introduces standout features, we note what’s new here as it goes live.
Tips for catching New Update
- Pick the window that suits your schedule — the weekend carries three Saturday slots and one on Sunday, so you rarely need to clear your whole day.
- If you tend to forget, set a reminder for the window nearest your usual play time rather than the earliest one.
- Missing a cycle is no great loss: New Update comes back the following week, so there’s always another shot.
- Jumping in during the first window usually means a busier lobby, which can make trying the new content more fun with a crowd.
How New Update fits Ghost Driver’s rhythm
New Update is the main recurring beat on Ghost Driver’s calendar. The game’s content history centers on these update drops rather than a wide roster of separate events, so for regular drivers this weekly cycle is the thing to keep an eye on. Each refresh is the clearest signal that there’s a reason to load back in.
