Verteron’s quieter corners hold 19 optional regional quests for Elyos characters, spread across nine zones that sit away from the main hubs. They run from level 12 all the way to level 45, and clearing them matters for more than flavor, since the higher entries hand out large chunks of XP and feed into item-level requirements for later content. Each one starts by talking to a named NPC out in the field and ends when you report back to its turn-in NPC, at which point the quest clears from your log.
Quick answer: Nineteen Elyos regional quests span nine smaller Verteron areas (levels 12–45), together granting 40,558,096 XP plus Kina, Wisdom Stones, Daevanion Crystals, titles, and bonus items.
Every quest below also grants a Wisdom Stone (Bound) and a Daevanion Crystal (Bound) on top of the Kina and XP shown, so the table focuses on those two varying numbers plus each quest’s title and standout drop. A sensible approach is to pick them up while you clear the main story in the same zone, which avoids backtracking later.

Shugo-of-All-Trades (Level 12)
Shugo-of-All-Trades is the lowest-level entry here, picked up from Dari at the Coastal Camp and turned in to him there. Dari calls himself a legendary jack-of-all-trades and offers to expand your Cube if you fetch the materials bag he dropped while fleeing a pack of Crestlich. “None other than Dari, the legendary Shugo-of-all-trades!” he insists. Retrieve Dari’s Materials Bag and return it, and he expands your Cube as promised, though it quickly becomes clear he is a complete novice who simply got lucky.

Ellun River Marsh
Panacea’s Secret (Level 14)
Zed, an Illusion Cavalier alchemist, hands out Panacea’s Secret at the Marsh Legion Campsite and takes it back there. A banquet left the Cavaliers with upset stomachs, and Zed has run dry on the ingredients for his prized remedy. To gather them, defeat 4 Coastal Starturtle and Marsh Moss Potcrab for their mucus. He finishes the potion the moment you deliver, boasting that his “Sticky Digestive Tonic works wonders for nausea, heartburn, and indigestion!” before keeping every drop for the Cavaliers.
Dawn’s Hymn to the Illusion (Level 16)
Dawn’s Hymn to the Illusion begins with Caelid at the Valley Outpost and ends with Nania in front of the Hidden Storage. The Dawn Legion has long shipped supplies to the Illusion Cavaliers for the Collapsed Barrier Tower, but shortages after the Poeta operation have soured morale. “We should focus on helping our own!” one legionnaire grumbles. This is the longest marsh quest, so it plays out across several stops.

Eternal Friend (Level 45)
Eternal Friend is offered by Lucy at the Marsh Legion Campsite and handed in to Laveis at the Spirit Forest. Lucy rescued a collapsed Spirit, fed it Odyle, and now it refuses to leave her side, even though the marsh and its rifts are no place for it. Laveis the Tree Spirit explains that “The bonds between spirits of the same kind run very deep,” which points to the fix.

Eastern Cantas Valley
Nine Wonders of Verteron: 1st Leg (Level 22)
Nine Wonders of Verteron: 1st Leg starts above the Mushroom Tree in the Eastern Cantas Valley with the explorer Nevius and wraps up at the Ruin Exploration Campsite. Nevius challenges you to a friendly race to see all nine of the region’s famous sights. For this leg, admire the scenery at the Ellun River Marsh Cliff and the Ellun River Midstream Highland, then answer Nevius’s Selvis call. “Right now, I’m tracking down the Nine Wonders of Verteron,” he says when you first meet.
No More Mushrooms (Level 45)
Lurio runs No More Mushrooms from the Eastern Cantas Valley Campsite, both start and finish. Poison mushrooms keep overrunning the valley, and he cannot keep up alone. “I’m so sick of mushrooms!” he complains. Remove 2 Poisonous Mushroom and defeat 15 of the roaming Red Cap Fungen and Red Cap Fungie to clear the area for now, buying the camp some breathing room until they grow back.
Verteron Fortress Ruins
Questionable Methods (Level 22)
Questionable Methods starts with Ione outside the Illusion Oratory and is delivered to Phernos outside the cave. Despite Ione’s forceful objections, Phernos plans to wield the forbidden Scarlotus magic to uncover High Priestess Reda’s intentions, leaving you to mediate between them. The ritual calls up Fossa Specters, which continue their attacks even when the chant has ended.

Tolbas Forest
Payback Time (Level 30)
Payback Time is given by Luteros at the Wind Breeze Merchants HQ and finished in front of Astin’s Hideout. Bao is furious that the traitor Astin was let go, and the Wind Breeze Merchants already know where he is: “He’s hiding under the cliff at the Fortress Ruins north of the forest. This time, don’t let him go!” Hear Luteros’s plan, then go to Astin’s Hideout and capture Astin alive so the Shugo can deal with him.

G-G-G-Ghosts!? (Level 30)
G-G-G-Ghosts!? starts with the panicking Kizeri in the Eastern Tolbas Forest and is turned in to Sasa nearby. A cave the Shugo wanted for storage seems haunted, but Phernos suspects something more useful: “The Shugo said it was a ghost, but it could be an illusion. If that is the case, it will help us find Reda.” Talk to Phernos, then investigate the cave, where a shattered barrierstone projects an illusion of Reda rather than any real ghost.
Eternal Isle’s Distinct Ecology (Level 45)
Eternal Isle’s Distinct Ecology is picked up from Ahtan at the cliff in the Southwestern Tolbas Forest and returned to him at the Astin Mercenaries Base. Ahtan, a Creion researcher, has always dreamed of reaching the self-contained island beyond Verteron. “Especially the Drana Mutants. I’ve always wanted to see one,” he says.
Eastern Altamia Highland
Price of Bravado (Level 36)
Belorin hands out Price of Bravado at the Hill of Purification and takes it back there. A reckless mercenary drank from the poisoned water of the Contaminated Sanctum and is doubled over with stomach pain. The poison cannot be cleansed, but it can be thinned out, so defeat 5 Contaminated Poison Slime and 4 Yellow-Tailed Skama by the water’s edge. “We can’t purify the poison completely, but at least we can dilute it,” Belorin says once the medicine is ready.
Southern Altamia Highland
To New Beginnings (Level 37)
To New Beginnings is both given and turned in by Vidius at the Hill of Purification. The wandering mercenary wants one last paying job so he can settle down, and the Notos Legion asked him to gather Guardite specimens he could not handle alone. “All I want now is to settle down, start a family, and live a normal life,” he says. Defeat 9 Contaminated Guardite to collect the samples, after which he sets off for Pamos Farm with an open invitation to visit.
Kraka Pond Pests (Level 45)
Rikke runs Kraka Pond Pests from the Kraka Footpath Campsite, start and finish. The clean-watered pond draws gatherers, but a surge of dangerous creatures has left the overwhelmed legionnaire despairing: “There’s at least a hundred of them… There’s no way I can manage that alone.” Defeat 6 Pond Starturtle, 6 Withered Fairy, and 3 Pond Skyray to make the pond safe to roam again.
Soul Swap (Level 45)
Soul Swap begins with Torelion at the Alert Observation Post and ends with him at the Ancient Zumion Temple Site. The archaeologist found two headless statues of apparently important figures and enlists Zumion Priest Seraphine to rebuild them. The payoff comes when the heads turn out to be swapped onto the wrong bodies and the two long-dead rivals start bickering.

Drana Plantation
First-mover Advantage (Level 41)
First-mover Advantage is given and returned by the Shugo merchant Dala at the Notos Legion Outpost. While rival merchants chase Scarlet Forest plants, Dala is betting on the overlooked Drana Plantation: “Because real merchants don’t follow the herd!” Hear his plan, then defeat 6 Labor Manager Oculazen for their eyes and 7 Drana Processing Maintenance Machine for their rakes. The reward is small, and Dala loudly reframes it as an early investment.

Straggler Search (Level 45)
Straggler Search starts with Sthen at the Scarlet Forest Observation Site and is turned in to Argo in the Scarlet Forest. A Notos scout has fallen behind, and because the unit transforms into Dratona on recon, the missing scout is hiding among them. Argo later admits why he hides the truth: “Because I love this work! And I want to be good at it.”

Crimson Isle, Where Time Has Stopped (Level 45)
Crimson Isle, Where Time Has Stopped is given by Takis at the Scarlet Forest and handed back at the Crimson Isle Outpost. Takis has a treasure map but is too frail and too scared to search the monster-ridden island alone. “It’s crawling with monsters blessed by a strange red ore,” he warns. Join Takis at the Crimson Isle Outpost, then interact with the Unclaimed Relic in the dangerous upper area. The glowing relic may or may not be real treasure, but Takis leaves proud either way.

Altamia Canyon
Creeping Darkness (Level 45)
Creeping Darkness is taken from Naielle at the Canyon Campsite and turned in to Caelid at Zumion Village. Notos legionnaires have been vanishing without a trace, and the terrified rookie Naielle needs help investigating. The trail leads to a Sura who turns out to be an abducted legionnaire: “I’m… a Notos… Legionnaire…” The documents you recover detail the Balaur’s preparations to revive Dragon Lord Ishtar.

Nine Wonders of Verteron: Final Stretch (Level 45)
Nine Wonders of Verteron: Final Stretch closes out the sightseeing race with Nevius, starting at the Zumion Statue and ending at Nahid Brigade Fortress Hill. With seven wonders already behind you, Nevius grows sentimental about having a friend along: “But I live for romance. And I have an inkling you do, too!” Admire the scenery at the Altamia Highland Ruins and at Nahid Brigade Fortress Hill, then return to Nevius to finish all nine wonders, a race with no winner or loser.
