Clean Hands is the first job the Nomadic Envoy hands you in ARC Raiders, added with the Frozen Trail update on the Pendola Pass map. It runs through four objectives in a single raid: locate a hidden Nomad Camp, recover the Equatorial Sundial, raise it at the top of the Old Town church, then extract and turn it in back at Speranza.

Quick answer: Grab the Equatorial Sundial from the duffle bag in the Nomad Camp beneath the Railyard, hold it up at the top of the Old Town church, then extract and deliver it to the Nomadic Envoy.

What to bring before you start

The quest must be finished in one round. If you pick up the Sundial but die or lose it before extracting, you have to restart the sequence in a fresh match. Pack an augment with a safe pocket so the Sundial survives a death, plus some heals and at least one reliable gun. Pendola Pass is hostile, and a Bully ARC can chase you down across the open snow.

You also need Pendola Pass unlocked already. If you have not reached the map, do that first, then accept Clean Hands from the Nomadic Envoy.

Find the Nomad Camp under the Railyard

Head to the Railyard point of interest, near the map’s center and south of the Controlled Receiving Facility. The camp is underground, directly below the site.
Approach the lower edge of the Railyard and look for two large, round semicircular openings cut into the wall. Pass through either one, or take the tunnel on the west side of the Railyard, to drop into the underground area.
Follow the catwalks across the space toward the open area in its center. Arriving there completes Find the Nomad Camp under the Railyard. The area is generally quiet, so ARC interference rarely gets in the way of exploring.

Search for the polluted item and grab the Equatorial Sundial

In the middle of the camp, near a covered cot, wooden crates and a pair of metal fuel barrels, a duffle bag sits on the ground with a quest prompt. Interact with it to search for the polluted item, then pick up the Equatorial Sundial that drops out.

Immediately open your inventory and move the Equatorial Sundial into your safe pocket. If it stays in your regular inventory and you are killed, you lose it and have to find it again in another raid.

Raise the Sundial at the top of the Old Town church

Leave the Railyard and head west to the Old Town point of interest. The church is easy to spot, with a tall steeple standing above the surrounding streets.

Enter through the northern doorway, or any of the broken openings in the walls. Just inside, look to the right for a spiral staircase leading up.
Climb a few flights, then grab the vertical zipline to ride the rest of the way to the top of the tower.
At the rooftop balcony, near the torn green banner, interact with the railing or wall mount to hold the Equatorial Sundial up and take readings. The objective then updates to Deliver the Equatorial Sundial to the Nomadic Envoy.

After the objective updates, check that the Sundial is still in your safe pocket before you head out. You still have to carry it through extraction, so keep it protected on the way to a Gondola extraction point.

Extract and deliver to the Nomadic Envoy

Extract from Pendola Pass by any route with the Sundial still in your inventory. Back in Speranza, speak with the Nomadic Envoy to turn the item in. The quest completes once you hand it over, and the Envoy acknowledges the debt in the turn-in dialog.
