The Gloomy Bloom is a flower-themed accessory you equip on your Aniimo companion in Aniimo. It sits in the Appearance slot, carries a Rare quality, and exists purely for looks, with its droopy little blossom and the line “Flower, flower, why so glum?” printed on its card. There is one place to get it, and a strict cap on how many you can own.

Quick answer: Buy the Gloomy Bloom from the Aniimo Accessories shop in Astra for 300 Voxel Coin. The purchase limit is one.

Gloomy Bloom stats and details

The Gloomy Bloom is worn by an Aniimo rather than your player character, so it changes how your companion looks in the field and in photos. Here is what the item is.

How to get the Gloomy Bloom in Aniimo

The Gloomy Bloom is sold in the Aniimo Accessories shop, which you reach in Astra and pay for with Voxel Coin. The price is 300 Voxel Coin, and you can only buy it once, since the shop caps this item at a purchase limit of one. It can also turn up inside an Aniimo Accessory Pack if you open one.

It shares that same shop and price with a set of other Rare accessories, including the Sailor Cap, Sailor Suit, Silver Helm Mask, Silver Helm Visor, Butterfly Tie, Floral Fleece Collar and Warmfleece Sunflower, each also 300 Voxel Coin with a limit of one. Once you confirm the purchase, the Gloomy Bloom lands in your wardrobe and you can equip it on any Aniimo from there. Because of the one-time cap, the entry disappears from the shop afterward, which is how you know the buy went through.

Don’t confuse Gloomy Bloom with Bloom points

The Gloomy Bloom cosmetic has nothing to do with the Blooms you tap in the overworld. Blooms are the fast travel points found in every area across Idyll. Activating one lights up that area on the map, reveals its terrain, and shows which Aniimo live there along with your catch rates. The purple-icon versions are nurturing spots that pull in a Wild Surge of Aniimo, and you get three free nurtures a day before it starts costing Vein Essence. If you ended up here looking for those, here is how the nurturing side works.

Follow the main story until the Bloom and Nurture features unlock. Nurturing is only available in areas where you have earned the Bronze Badge, so areas without it stay locked.
Bring up the Breezy Plains Branch menu, then select Nurture. Choose a qualifying region from the area list, such as Nimbus Fields.

Choose a shard to decide what gets attracted, such as a Grass Shard or Water Shard, then start the session. Finishing one raises the area’s Prismatic Energy, which carries a chance to spawn a Prismana Aniimo.

So if you came for the cosmetic, stick to the Aniimo Accessories shop in Astra and spend 300 Voxel Coin while the entry is still there. If you came for the overworld Blooms, the nurturing loop above is the one that fills your map and draws in rarer Aniimo.
