Star Wars Droid Tycoon, the Fortnite Creative map built by FOAD, is running its month-long “Gonk-o-Ween!” Halloween event, and the latest patch reworks how much offline storage a base can hold. Blueprint Storage in the Nova Shop now extends to nine slots, up from three, alongside a round of droid earning adjustments and a handful of event conveniences.
Quick answer: Blueprint Storage can be upgraded through the Nova Shop to a maximum of 9 slots, costing a cumulative 3,550 Nova Crystals to take levels 4 through 9.
Blueprint Storage now expands to 9 slots in the Nova Shop
Blueprint Storage sits under the Workshop upgrades in the Nova Shop, the vendor operated by RIC-1200 behind the cantina in the Super Rebirth area. Each level adds one offline slot where a droid blueprint can be kept in the base. The upgrade previously capped at three slots; the new tiers push it to nine.
Every level is bought with Nova Crystals, and the cost climbs with each tier. Taking the upgrade from slot 4 to slot 9 adds up to 3,550 Nova Crystals in total.

| Level | Cost (Nova Crystals) |
|---|---|
| 4 | 250 |
| 5 | 350 |
| 6 | 500 |
| 7 | 650 |
| 8 | 800 |
| 9 | 1,000 |
Once all tiers are bought, each upgrade shows a “Max Rank” badge in the menu, which confirms the slot has been unlocked.

Add to Google Preferences →Where the nine storage terminals sit in the base
The storage docks are not all in one place. They are split into three groups of three across the base, so a fully upgraded setup spreads blueprints over different floors rather than a single wall.
- Three slots at the main entrance area.
- The battle arena area has three slots, set alongside a window.
- The upper level has three slots; they’re just past the corner, close to the Astromech terminals.

Each terminal reads “PLACE BLUEPRINT HERE TO STORE!” when empty and switches to “RETRIEVE BLUEPRINT” once a card is docked. Any droid blueprint can go into any slot, including rarer cards and event-themed ones.

The nine-slot cap matches a request raised in FOAD’s official Discord, where a player under the “suggestions” channel asked for more blueprint storage and named nine slots split three per floor as the goal.

Epic R2 and B2 Heavy droid credit rates changed
Two Epic droids had their credit-per-second output swapped. The Epic R2 now earns more, while the Epic B2 Heavy earns less, pushing the two to the same rate they previously did not share.
| Droid | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Epic R2 | 360/sec | 480/sec |
| Epic B2 Heavy | 480/sec | 360/sec |
A separate fix resolved a bug where blueprints would not throw correctly after being picked up from base storage, which matters now that more blueprints can be held and moved around.
Gonk-o-Ween event changes on Tatooine
A boombox radio sits near the Gonk-o-Ween tent and carries an “INTERACT” prompt. Using it toggles the event’s background music on or off, so players who want the map quiet can mute the Halloween track without leaving the match.

Returning players no longer have the Gonk-o-Ween intro cutscene forced on them during lobby load-in once they have already seen it. The trick-or-treat booths also gained a purple candy indicator above the display; the booths track progress such as “Player Treats 5/5” and run a cooldown timer before they can be used again.
New public lobby loading screen art shows a mix of Astromech and Gonk droids with the label “EVENT SOON.”

Kyber missions are not in this patch
Kyber missions did not arrive with this update. The Astromech mission board still lists its usual spread of planets, including Geonosis, Coruscant, Ilum, Jakku, Lothal, Mygeeto, Ryloth, Kashyyyk, Scarif, Ord Mantell, Canto Bight, Chandrila and Elphrona, but the Kyber content is held for a later update. No official date for it is currently confirmed.
