The Halloween Egg is the limited-time Ethereal egg added to Ride a Pet for its Halloween event, and it holds six new pets you cannot get anywhere else. There are two ways to obtain it. You can buy it with Halloween Tokens at the event shop, or grab it when it spawns naturally in the Halloween World, the same way a Solaris Egg appears on the map.

Quick answer: Buy the Halloween Egg for 350 Halloween Tokens at the event shop, or catch it when it spawns around the map and carry it back to a ranch to hatch it.

Enter the Halloween World first

All Halloween Egg activities take place in the event world. In the main play area, enter the glowing orange, tree-shaped portal beside the Ranches to teleport there. After you arrive, red ground and pumpkins, gravestones, and spooky trees cover the map.

The event is live for one month and ends on November 7, 2026. Farm regularly before that date so you have enough tokens and enough spawn chances to collect the full set of pets.

Farm Halloween Tokens from candy

Buying the egg is the reliable route, and it runs on Halloween Tokens. You earn tokens by collecting candy around the Halloween World and depositing it at the Drop Off Candy station before the “Candy Will Spoil” timer runs out. Each deposit pays out tokens, and candy farther from the entrance is worth more, so do not waste all your runs near the start.

Ride out into the map and look for candy pieces on the ground, marked with icons. Press and hold E to pick them up. Low-value piles sit near the entrance and hand out roughly 10 to 12 tokens each.
Push deeper toward the rear sections of the map. The candy there is worth more per piece, so a single loaded trip pays better than several short trips near the portal.

Carry your candy back to the Drop Off Candy station and deposit it before the spoil timer expires. The deposit converts your candy into Halloween Tokens.

Repeat the same route between the good candy spawns and the drop-off point. A memorized loop lets you gather and deposit without re-scouting the same corners, and it builds toward the 350 tokens you need per egg.

Some candies are cursed and apply random effects when collected, such as upside-down vision or inverted controls. They still count, but be ready for the screen to flip mid-run.

Three ways to collect candy

  • Pick up candy scattered on the ground — the main source during the event.
  • Trick or treat by knocking on house doors in the Halloween World for candy or a trick.
  • Interact with rotten pumpkins in the Pumpkin Patch, some of which reward candy.

Buy the Halloween Egg at the shop

Once you have at least 350 Halloween Tokens, head to the stand marked “Halloween Eggs” in the event world and speak to the NPC there. That opens the egg shop, where you spend tokens to purchase a Halloween Egg. The egg mixes pets of different rarities, so you may need several purchases before the pet you want appears.

Where the Halloween Egg spawns on the map

The egg also spawns freely in the Halloween World without costing any tokens. When it appears, a server notification reads “[15 KG] Halloween Egg Has Spawned.” It uses the same spawn points as the Solaris Egg and carries Ethereal rarity, so an Eternal Radar will point you straight to it.

When the notification fires, patrol these spots rather than sitting still:

  • Around the Halloween Egg shop stand, where it is often featured
  • The main Halloween portal and the open areas around it
  • The perimeter paths that loop the event map
  • The Drop Off Candy station and the dark tunnel pathways nearby

Zoom your camera out while you patrol and collect candy at the same time. You keep earning tokens on your loop and still spot the egg if it drops near your route.

Pets inside the Halloween Egg

The Halloween Egg gives six pets. Keep opening eggs if you are chasing a specific one, since rarities vary.

  • Pumpkin Toad
  • Ghostweaver
  • Ghost Cat
  • Raptor
  • Sabertooth
  • Skeletal Dragon

How to confirm you have the egg

A shop purchase is confirmed when your token balance drops by 350 and the Halloween Egg is added to your inventory. A map spawn is yours once you reach it, carry it home, and place it in a ranch. The egg then hatches into one of the six pets, which appears in your Index menu alongside the rest of your collection.
