Breaking the Radio Silence is the House Camp main quest that hands you the Hybrid clothing set. Anna gives you a key, you rebuild the stairs up the side of the Church, unlock a rooftop cabin, fix the radio inside to hear a message from Icarus, then craft five Hybrid pieces and ask Anna about the next tower. Keep the Building Tool and some Wood and Scrap on you before you start.
Quick answer: Take Key from Anna from her first reward box, repair both Wooden Stairs flights (6 Wood each) with the Building Tool, unlock the roof cabin, renovate the Radio Station Bench with 3 Scrap and 4 Wood, listen to Icarus to the end, then craft all five Hybrid pieces and pick “Finn. I will look for him.”
What you need before starting
The Building Tool equipped. Repair prompts only appear with it in hand.
Build both stair flights with 12 Wood. For the radio, set aside 3 Scrap and 4 Wood.
Key from Anna, which comes from her reward box in Step 2.
Use the Tailoring Bench and supply Treated Hide and Cloth to craft all five Hybrid pieces. Make Treated Hide by processing a pelt and Animal Fat at a Tanning Rack.
Talk to Anna Ivashchenko inside the Church at House Camp and accept the quest. The objective line reads “Talk to Anna,” and once you pick the offer to fix the radio tower, it ticks and becomes “Get the key to the Church’s tower.”
A Quest reward box appears next to Anna. It holds Key from Anna and 20 Bucks, and opening it also unlocks the Dismantle Bench recipe. The tracker then splits into “Repair Stairs to the roof” and “Reach the church’s roof.”
Head outside to the wooden scaffolding against the Church’s side wall. Stepping onto it opens a Base Renovation tracker reading 0/2, and the two broken flights glow blue. With the Building Tool out, hold the repair button on each flight. Every flight needs 6 Wood. Fix the lower flight, climb it, then fix the upper one. BASE RENOVATION goes to 1/2, then the objective is ticked.
From the top of the stairs, cross the snow-covered roof along the wooden walkways to a small cabin. Its door shows “LOCKED” with a hold-to-unlock prompt. Unlock it, which consumes Key from Anna, and the door prompt switches to open. Entering adds “Renovate the radio” and “Listen to the message from Icarus.”
In the cabin, a blue glow marks the Radio Station Bench on a desk beside the window. Equip the Building Tool and hold the repair button to renovate it. The cost is 3 Scrap and 4 Wood. Renovate the bench already there; you don’t have to build or place another one.
The bench prompt changes to let you listen. Use it and stay put until the broadcast finishes, where Icarus warns survivors to keep away. The objective only ticks when the message ends. On the desk beside the radio, grab the Recipe pickup that unlocks the Makeshift Heater. The tracker then shows “Talk to Anna.”
Return to the Church’s ground floor and speak with Anna. Continue her conversation about Icarus and the Moon Cult until she says a second radio tower could help them locate him. The objective updates to “Collect the blueprints from Anna.”
A second Quest reward box appears on the rug in front of Anna. Open it for a Mountain Backpack and the five Hybrid recipes, which unlock in order as Hybrid Boots, Hybrid Gloves, Hybrid Jacket, Hybrid Hat and Hybrid Pants.
Go to the Tailoring Bench and craft all five Hybrid pieces from Treated Hide and Cloth. The tracker’s first line reads “Craft Utility Boots,” but it is the Hybrid Boots recipe the box unlocked, and crafting Hybrid Boots clears that line. Close the bench with all five made and the tracker moves to “Ask Anna about the next tower.”
Return to the Church, select “Where’s the next tower? [Main Quest]” and proceed through the dialogue. At the final choices, select “Finn. I will look for him. [Accept Quest]” to finish the quest. Breaking the Radio Silence displays a quest-succeeded banner without reward lines, because the rewards came from the two boxes.
How you know the quest is done
After you accept “Finn. I will look for him,” the “Breaking the Radio Silence / Quest Succeeded” banner appears. A few seconds later the “Tower of Finn” banner follows, and its tracker line reads “Go to the Improvised Radio Tower.” On the map the quest pin shows Tower of Finn with the objective to reach Finn. That hand-off into Tower of Finn is your confirmation that Breaking the Radio Silence is complete.
