Bloxburg Halloween Ghost Hunt Day 4: Foam Sword Location and Rewards

For 23 days before October 31, Welcome to Bloxburg’s Halloween Ghost Hunt adds one ghost to a location on the map every 24 hours. Each ghost has misplaced an item hidden around town; return it before that day’s timer expires to earn the full reward. On Day 4, your route takes you between downtown and the beach.

Quick answer: Talk to the ghost MacWriWri on the sidewalk outside Fancy Furniture, grab the Foam Sword beneath the wooden walkway at Ocean Avenue beach, and return it within 24 hours for $10,000.

Day 4 ghost and Foam Sword location

On Day 4, the ghost is downtown, while its lost Foam Sword is on the beach at Ocean Avenue. Talk to the ghost to activate the task; the sword can’t be picked up before you trigger the clue.

Make your way downtown and locate Fancy Furniture. MacWriWri is on the sidewalk just outside the store, beside the traffic light. Interact with the ghost, then choose Talk to get the clue.

Travel to the beach at Ocean Avenue. The on-screen marker highlights a search area around the pier, which is where the item is tucked away.

Descend the wooden stairs to the sand, then go beneath the wooden platform and walkway. The Foam Sword is under the structure. Click it to collect it.

Follow the on-screen arrow back to MacWriWri outside Fancy Furniture and hand over the sword. A completion notification and the $10,000 cash reward confirm the day is done.

Rewards and the 24-hour deadline

A ghost’s timer begins as soon as it appears. Return the item before time runs out to get the full payout; afterward, you’ll receive a smaller amount. You can still find the ghost and item once the timer expires, and completing the task late still counts toward milestone progress.

Helping ghosts across the event also unlocks Blockbux bonuses at set milestones. Only the milestone you reach pays out, so these are not cumulative with each other.

Completing every ghost on time across all 23 days totals $230,000 in cash, on top of the final B$120 Blockbux milestone. Always prioritize the newest ghost to avoid dropping to the $2,500 late payout.

If you missed any earlier ghosts, you can still collect them for the reduced cash and milestone credit. Here is where each one spawned and where its lost item was hidden.

In every case, speak to the ghost before heading out, then follow the arrow back to that same spot once you hold the item.

Sabrina the Witch Apprentice trophy quest

Alongside the daily ghost, a longer trophy quest runs at the pumpkin orchard. Finishing it awards the Halloween Haunting Quest Trophy. It chains a series of fetch tasks and brewing steps before ending in a mansion full of mazes.

Head to the Plenty O’ Pumpkins orchard in Greenfield Plains, near the bus stop. Talk to Sabrina at her mystical snacks stand and apply as her apprentice. She asks you to recover her lost potion recipe book.

Climb over the red barn roof and drop inside through the high window. Grab the glowing Potion Recipe Book resting on the hay bales on the upper level, then return it to Sabrina.

Brew the potions she requests using the cauldron behind the tent. Toss in a black balloon for the test potion, another for the Potion of Levitation, an acoustic guitar for the loud potion, and a lantern for the Potion of Ghost Vision, delivering each one back to her in turn.

Teleport to Billygoat High and head left toward the library. Pick up the red Deciphering Ancient Symbols book inside the small wooden play castle and bring it to Sabrina.

Travel to Ocean Avenue and speak with Alan the fisherman, then teleport to the Cape Beacon lighthouse. Dive underwater beside the seaside rocks to collect the missing book page.

Return the page, then brew a Phantom Perception Potion using glasses from your backpack. Drink it to make the ghosts visible and speak with Helen von Vlox outside the orchard mansion.

Teleport to Bloxburg Central and search the graveyard across from the Bloxburger restaurant. Equip a shovel and dig up Helen’s mansion key at the tombstone marked with a witch hat.

Return the key to Helen and work through the haunted mansion and its mazes to reach the master bedroom. Collect the Keepsake Pendant from the dresser, reunite Helen with Victor at the fairy ring, then talk to Sabrina to claim the Halloween Haunting Quest Trophy.

With the Day 4 return banked and the trophy quest cleared, the next ghost will spawn once the 24-hour countdown rolls over. Keep an eye on the event menu for the new spawn timer and repeat the pattern: talk first, follow the clue, then return the item before the window closes.
