Jane’s Instrument Prices in SCROOMS and Where to Find Her Stall

Jane runs the instrument stall in SCROOMS, selling three instruments you buy with Chimes, the music-note currency. Her stock is small and the prices sit far apart, so it helps to know what each one costs before you start saving.

Quick answer: Jane’s stall is in Songkeeper’s Grove, a few steps from the spawn. She sells the Tamer’s Guitar for 100 Chimes, the Adventurer’s Tambourine for 750, and the Violin of Pilgrimage for 4,500.

Where to find Jane in Songkeeper’s Grove

Jane sits behind a market table in Songkeeper’s Grove, right by the spawn clearing. Her stall carries a hanging sign with a treble clef and stands against the side of the red wooden houses. From the spawn signpost, walk about two seconds with the red house on your left and you will reach her. She is the red-haired woman seated at the table.

Walk up and the E Talk Jane prompt appears. Press it and she says, “Looking to buy an instrument? Take a look at my wares, see if anything catches your eye!” The only reply is “1. Will do, thank you!”, which ends the chat. Jane does not hand out a quest, so talking to her is purely a greeting.

Interact with an instrument on a stall table to display its prompt, which lists the instrument’s name, “Purchase,” and its price in Chimes. The music-note icon in the screen’s bottom-right corner marks Chimes.

How to buy an instrument from Jane

Reach the stall and turn to the instrument you want. The items sit on the table rather than inside a menu, so you pick them by facing each one directly.

Line up with the instrument until its purchase prompt appears, for example “E Tamer’s Guitar Purchase: 100”. Check the price against the Chimes count at the bottom right of your screen.

Press E on the prompt to buy. The price is listed on the prompt before you buy.

Tamer’s Guitar stats against the Wooden Lute

Among upgrades to your starting Wooden Lute, the Tamer’s Guitar costs the least. Open the Equipment Bag (hotbar slot 2). Its in-game description calls it an ornate instrument sold by a local vendor, with a light build and a gentle sound.

The guitar raises Precision, Harmony, Tension and Luck over the lute while keeping the same Resonance of I. For 100 Chimes, it is an early upgrade you can afford well before saving toward the tambourine or the violin.

How to get enough Chimes

Quest rewards pay out in Chimes. Tamer in Training gives 350 Chimes and Beekeeper’s Request gives 450, enough between them to cover the Tamer’s Guitar several times over and make a start on the tambourine.
