+1 Speed Keyboard Escape: What the Halloween Admin Abuse Event Does

A breakdown of the recurring Saturday live event, its stacked multipliers, mini-games, and the limited Witch Hat promo code.

Admin Abuse is the weekly live event in Roblox’s +1 Speed Keyboard Escape where the developers switch on server-wide boosts that would never appear in normal play. The Halloween run of the event layers spooky mini-games on top of that, hosted in-game by the “Headless Horseman” admin alongside developer “chichine.” Over a single session, speed and win multipliers stack high enough to push a player from single-digit billions of wins into the tens of billions.

Quick answer: Admin Abuse runs every Saturday at 11:00 AM PT / 2:00 PM ET. During it, the admins trigger stacking speed and win multipliers plus timed mini-events, and the Halloween version adds Chocolate Hunts, Glove Battles, UFO win farming, and limited-time candy items.

When Admin Abuse runs

The event follows a fixed weekly slot on Saturdays. The features change from week to week, so the exact mini-games and bosses differ each time, but the start time stays the same. The Halloween session covered here was one of those Saturday events, with seasonal content swapped in.

RegionTimeDay
US West (PT)11:00 AMSaturday
US East (ET)2:00 PMSaturday
UK (BST)7:00 PMSaturday
Central Europe (CET)8:00 PMSaturday
India (IST)11:30 PMSaturday
Japan (JST)3:00 AMSunday
Australia (AEST)4:00 AMSunday

No specific future Halloween date is officially confirmed beyond this recurring weekly pattern. The standard Admin Abuse boosts that run underneath the seasonal content include 2× wins and trophies on claim, faster Speed training on a powered-up Admin Abuse treadmill, and occasional boss fights or challenge stages.

The Halloween mini-events

Throughout the session the Headless Horseman spawns a rotating set of timed activities across the keyboard track. Each one feeds into the same goal, which is stacking as many multipliers as possible before they expire.

Chocolate Hunt

Chocolate pieces scatter across the key tiles and the whole server works toward a shared counter. The event steps through XP tiers as more chocolate is gathered, unlocking x2, then x5, then a x10 XP multiplier. Reaching 1,000 chocolates collected triggers the server-wide 10x XP boost, which lasts five minutes.

Collecting is a matter of sweeping across the colored tile field and circling the decorative cauldrons and pumpkins where pieces cluster. Chat tips during the hunt point players toward stacking their speed boosts so the XP tiers multiply against everything else running.

Lightning

When the Headless Horseman enables lightning, bolts drop across the field for players to collect. Purple bolts are worth gathering over the regular yellow ones, since each purple bolt grants three times the boost value of a standard one.

Pizza Time and the treadmill

Pizza Time applies a x2 speed boost while slices rain over the central runway. Stepping onto the Admin Abuse treadmill during this window, with chocolate XP and other boosts already live, is where levels climb fastest. In the session, this combination carried the player’s level past 542 in a short burst.

Glove Battle

Players can be voted into a Glove Battle, an arena where everyone is handed slapping gloves and scores points by knocking others down. The Headless Horseman offered a twist mid-fight: if every player stopped hitting and cooperated, the server would unlock an 8,000x speed boost. A single hit breaks the truce, and in practice the cooperation collapsed and the brawl resumed. The round ended with one player, ABPLAYS161, in first place on 97 hits.

UFO win farming

The closing act spawns a UFO event in Galaxy 2 paired with a 20x Wins multiplier. Riding the UFOs in Stage 1 under that multiplier pays out enormous amounts, with each touch granting somewhere between +200M and +260M wins. Over roughly two minutes this added more than 6 billion wins, carrying the total from about 10.16B to over 15.5B before the phase expired.

How the multipliers stack

The reason numbers balloon so quickly is that these boosts multiply against one another rather than simply adding up. A run can hold the Chocolate Hunt XP tier, an admin speed boost, a lightning boost, Pizza Time’s x2, and a Robux-bought x2 all at once. The admins pushed this further by enabling an 80,000x speed boost across both Galaxy 1 and Galaxy 2 at one point.

Chaining a fresh Chocolate Hunt into another lightning phase and then back onto the treadmill is how the session kept the XP tiers and speed values compounding without a break.

The CHICHINEHAT promo code

Partway through the event, chichine announced a code in chat: CHICHINEHAT, good for a free Witch Hat. The catch was a hard cap of 50,000 redemptions. That limit was hit within minutes, and attempts after it returned errors like “Too many attempts. Try again in 1s.” and “Something went wrong. Try again in a moment.”

Codes dropped during Admin Abuse are tied to a redemption count rather than a long expiry window, so they can lapse the same session they appear.

Halloween shop items and currency

The Halloween Shop restocks on a timer during the event and sells seasonal speed items bought with Candy Corn, the event currency earned by running and completing Halloween Quests. Higher-tier items carry both speed and XP bonuses.

Time Rewards, claimed from a separate menu, handed out items like the Chocolate Guitar (Epic) and a Watch of Time during the session. A one-hour X2 Speed Boost is also sold in the Robux shop for 36 Robux, which is the paid multiplier that stacks alongside the free event boosts.

Why the timing matters for rebirths

Because the boosts compound, Admin Abuse is the fastest window to clear level-gated goals. Rebirth in this session required Level 560, and the stacked XP from the treadmill runs closed most of that gap in one sitting, taking the player from Level 525 toward 548. Wins climbed from 9.34B at the start to 15.57B by the end, driven largely by the UFO phase.

When the UFO window expires, the multipliers drop and the server returns to normal keyboard running. That reset is the clearest signal the event has ended for the session, so anything you want from the boosted window, levels, wins, or shop items, needs to be banked before the final timer runs out.
