Several of the newest badges in 7 Days Cat-Sitting are not rewards for surviving the week. They are deliberate failures. Each one asks you to break the cat-sitting routine in a specific way, reach the game-over screen, and collect the badge that the ending hands you. The eight covered here all follow that pattern, and every one has a precise trigger.
Quick answer: Each badge is tied to one wrong action during a run. Perform the exact action below, let the run reach its FAILED screen, and the matching badge unlocks instantly.
How the failure badges unlock and how to confirm each one
These badges all work the same way. You take a single action the game normally punishes, the run ends on a red FAILED screen naming the ending, and the badge is awarded. You will see a “Badge unlocked” line on the end screen along with a short sentence explaining what killed you, and a Roblox notification appears in the bottom-right corner reading “Badge Awarded: 7 Days Cat-Sitting! [SCARY] -” followed by the badge name. Once that popup shows, the badge is permanently on your profile and you can hit RESTART or BACK TO LOBBY.
You trigger all of these inside the live experience, which you can open on the Roblox game page. The table below is a fast reference; the sections after it explain exactly what to do for each.
| Badge | Trigger action |
|---|---|
| Merry Christmas | Offer the cat food at the fireplace chimney |
| Is anyone home? | Keep every curtain shut across several nights |
| Visitor | Step into the alien’s line of sight at a window |
| Blood Bath | Let the blood-filled bathtub flood and drown you |
| Haunted House | Ignore the flickering living room light |
| Beamed up | Walk outside while the UFO is overhead |
| Nuclear Meltdown | Point the laser into the microwave |
| BEDTIME OF DOOM | Do every task wrong, then sleep |

Add to Google Preferences →Alien encounter badges: Visitor and Beamed up
Two badges come from the alien events. One needs you to get caught at a window, the other needs you to walk into the open.
Visitor
When an alien appears outside and peers through the windows, move so that it has a clear line of sight to you through an open window. The backyard laundry window and the kitchen window both work. Hold that position until the creature rushes forward and attacks. The end screen reads “It found you at the window.” The in-game hint for this one is “Come in line of sight of the alien”.

Beamed up
This one needs the UFO event, where a spacecraft hovers over the house. Instead of staying inside, open the front door and walk out onto the lawn directly under the hovering beam. You get pulled up and destroyed, and the screen reads “You went outside while the UFO was here.” The hint is “Go outside when the UFO arrives”.

Household anomaly failures: Blood Bath, Haunted House, Nuclear Meltdown and Is anyone home?
These four come from ignoring or misusing fixtures around the house. Each one has you leave an anomaly unchecked or point something at the wrong target.
Blood Bath
When red blood appears in the tub, open the bathtub tap and leave it running. Leave the toilet monster unflushed. Let water cover the whole bathroom and rise above your head, drowning you. The screen displays “The blood rose over your head.” The hint is “Drown in it, do not stop it”.

Haunted House
When the living room ceiling light starts flickering erratically, do nothing. Do not flip the switch and do not try to fix it. Let it keep flickering until the house goes dark and the paranormal failure triggers. The screen reads “You ignored the flickering light.” The hint is “Ignore the flickering light”.

Nuclear Meltdown
Equip the laser pointer tool you normally use to play with Whiskers. Instead of aiming it at the floor, point the red dot directly into the microwave oven while a monster is active. The result is a blinding explosion. The screen reads “You shone a laser into the microwave.” The hint is “Point the laser on the microwave”.
Is anyone home?
Close every set of curtains and window blinds across the whole house, including the bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen and laundry room, and keep them shut. Leave them closed over successive nights rather than reopening them. After too long with everything sealed, the house fails catastrophically. The screen reads “You kept every curtain shut for too long.” The hint is “Keep every curtain shut off for a few nights”.

Holiday and total-neglect endings: Merry Christmas and BEDTIME OF DOOM
The last two badges sit apart from the anomalies. One is a one-off joke interaction, the other asks you to fail everything at once.
Merry Christmas
Take a can of cat food from the lower kitchen cabinet, then go to the fireplace and use the “Offer food” prompt on the chimney. A Santa Claus character drops down the chimney, drinks from the can, and the run ends. The screen reads “Santa came down the chimney for the cat food.” The hint is “Leave the cat food near the chimney”.

BEDTIME OF DOOM
For this one, do everything wrong before sleeping. Leave the front door wide open, skip the mailbox, do not feed or play with the cat, leave the stove burning, leave the TV on, leave the fridge door open, and leave the blinds open. With all of those unresolved, click the bed to sleep. An execution cutscene plays and the badge unlocks. The hint is “Do everything wrong and go to sleep”.
Because every one of these badges ends your run, hunt them on dedicated attempts rather than mixing them into a serious survival run toward the Cannon Good Ending. The badge stays on your profile after it unlocks, so you can restart and chase the next one immediately.
