Animals in Lift Rock For Eggs come from eggs you find out in the world, not from a shop draw. You walk into an egg to carry it home, drop it on your farm plot, and hatch it into a pet that earns cash for you every second while it is equipped.
Quick answer: Travel to a zone like the Desert, walk into an egg to pick it up, return to Your farm, place it on an open plot slot, hatch it, then open the Animals menu and press Equip Best.
Where eggs spawn
Eggs sit out in the open exploration zones rather than inside your base. The Meadow and the Desert both hold eggs you can grab, and rarer eggs appear in later areas such as the Volcano. Each zone tends to give a different pet, so the egg you walk out with depends on where you found it.
You do not buy these eggs. You simply move your character into one and it is collected automatically, with a banner confirming what you picked up.

You know it worked when the Active Animals menu lists the pet with an Unequip button beside it and your cash begins ticking up on its own.
Pet stats in the Animals menu
Each pet carries three things that matter: its rarity, its weight in kilograms, and its earnings per second. A Brown Dog, for instance, shows as Epic, 45 kg, and $64/s. Higher-value pets pay more per second, which is why rarer eggs from tougher zones are worth the travel.
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Grade of the pet, such as Epic |
| Weight (kg) | The pet’s size value |
| $/s | Cash earned each second while equipped |
| Active Animals | How many pets you have equipped at once |
Your plot has a slot limit, shown as a size like 9 x 11. You can pay cash to upgrade it, for example $35K for more room, which lets you hatch and hold more pets at once.
Train strength and speed to reach better eggs
Reaching farther zones depends on your stats, which you build using gym equipment placed on your plot. Running on the treadmill raises your speed multiplier, adding points per step, while the weight bench raises your strength and power. Both let you lift bigger rocks and push deeper into the map toward rarer eggs.

Switch to the weight bench to train strength and power. You can upgrade the gym itself with cash, for example the Basic + Weight station for $4K or a Wooden tier that grants +5 Strength and +5 Speed per step.

Trails from the Trails shop speed this up by boosting training. Leaf Drift adds +100%, Splash Wave adds +150% for $75K or 59 Robux, and Plasma Zoom adds +200% for $1.5M or 125 Robux. Equipping one makes every treadmill and bench session count for more.
Extra cash from the Index
Every pet and zone you discover fills in the Index. Open the Index button and press Claim All to collect cash rewards for what you have found so far, tracked as a count like 1/8 per world. This is a steady source of money to fund plot and gym upgrades without spending Robux.
With pets equipped, stats climbing, and the Index paying out, each new egg you carry back from a farther zone becomes a bigger earner, which is the core loop that pushes you toward the rarest animals in the game.
