Superior Soulstone is a Common-grade stone in AION 2 that slots into accessories to add extra stat lines. It sits a tier above Lesser and Intermediate soulstones, and it is the lowest tier that can roll the high-end percentage damage bonuses serious builds chase.
Quick answer: Engrave a Superior Soulstone into any accessory slot through the Enhancement menu. Craft it at Alchemy mastery 90, or get it from a Growth Soulstone Chest, Benediction of Death achievements, or the Daeva Pass.
What Superior Soulstone does
A Superior Soulstone engraves onto Soulstone slots in accessories, giving that piece bonus stats. Soulstones only go on accessories. Weapons and armor take Manastones instead, so you cannot use a Superior Soulstone on a chest piece or a weapon.
Each engrave produces random stat lines. You do not pick the result, and the stats also raise the accessory’s item level, which matters for hitting gear requirements on higher dungeons.
There is no stat lock. Using another stone to reroll replaces every stone line on that accessory at once, so a good line you wanted cannot be protected from the next roll.
How to get Superior Soulstone
The tradable Superior Soulstone comes from Alchemy crafting. A separate Bound version drops from reward boxes, achievements, and the battle pass and cannot be sold or traded.
Craft it with Alchemy
Crafting requires Alchemy mastery 90. The recipe has a base success rate of 72.9% and uses:
- Intermediate Soulstone x30
- Spiritstone Powder x10
- Exceptional Ink (Bound) x2
There is also a combo route. Crafting Intermediate Soulstone has a 20% chance to proc a Superior Soulstone instead, so you can pick some up while working through the lower tier.
Growth Soulstone Chest
Opening the Growth Soulstone Chest (Bound) yields a soulstone at set odds; a Superior Soulstone is a rare result. The shop sells the chest for 30 Event Currency.
Achievements
The Benediction of Death achievement chain hands out the Bound version for collecting Daevanion: Triniel Nodes. The payouts scale with each tier:

Each roll lands at one of three grades, which the game labels Basic, Superior, and Ultimate. Higher grades give bigger values but are rarer. These are the values per grade:

The roll chances split into three groups. The standard combat stats (Attack, Defense, Accuracy Bonus, Evasion Bonus, Critical Hit, Critical Hit Resist, Block) land at 5.000% for Basic, 3.500% for Superior, and 1.500% for Ultimate. HP and MP are more common at 6.875%, 4.813%, and 2.063%. The five damage boost lines are the rarest, at just 0.250% Basic, 0.175% Superior, and 0.075% Ultimate each.
An Ultimate Attack line (+10) is already a strong result. Chasing a full set of the percentage damage lines is a long shot given how low their odds are, so decide what outcome you will accept before you start rerolling.
How to engrave a Superior Soulstone
You will know it worked when the accessory shows its new stat lines. Green text marks the superior (higher-grade) rolls, while white text marks basic rolls, and each line lists its stat weight.
Trade, storage, and sell value
The standard Superior Soulstone is fully tradable and can be kept in Character Storage, Server Storage, and sold through both public and personal trade. It sells to vendors for 100 Kina. The Bound version that comes from chests, achievements, and the battle pass shares the same stats but cannot be traded.
